Anyway, I only go to her for my annual physical but she is so professional/patient focused that I referred my boyfriend as well. She is so caring and actually takes the time to ask questions and not only listen to but answer all of mine w/o making me feel like I am taking up her time. She has a bedside manner like no other and I'll miss her someday when I leave MA. I also love Amie- Dr. Mandel's administrative assistant- so sweet and if Amie says she'll find something out for you, she means it- always smiles and makes you feel like you made a great decision by going to their office. The waiting room is clean and there is a t.v to help pass the time if there is a wait. You won't mind if you do have to wait b/c you know that you'll get the same attention that Dr. Mandel is giving to whoever she has is the exam room.

I made an appointment and visited Dr. Mandel and was blown away at her professionalism, honesty and downright knowledge of anything I was either curious about or interested in. She is a hands-on doctor who not only shows you how you currently stand health wise but helps you maintain or get to where you feel you want to be or where she thinks you have the potential of going. I would go as far as saying that she could easily be a life coach as well - she is just that well rounded and genuine about what she does.

I spent an hour here total, most of that time in the waiting room. I just walked in so perhaps if I had booked online I could have spent less time there. If you have the time, try booking ahead. Completing the online check-in process as a new patient was easy enough but it was a little annoying to have to submit driver's license and insurance card photos after the receptionist scanned both cards. Being able to view the waitlist online was nice. The medical staff were decent enough. I do not recommend Dr. Ojutelayo as a primary care physician, especially if you are even slightly…read moreoverweight. He has demonstrated clear personal bias against individuals with higher body weight, and unfortunately, it affects the level of care you receive. My mother, my grandmother, and others I know have experienced this firsthand. In over 15 years as his patient, I've never once had a condition treated directly by him. Every concern is met with a referral--never actual care. None of my medications have come from him, and if I manage to get an appointment when sick, I'm waiting at least a week. More often, I'm forced to go to urgent care or a walk-in clinic because his office has no availability. For regular visits, the wait is often two weeks or more. Just recently, my mother was told she'd need to wait three months just to have a consult. He now claims to be a "holistic" doctor, which was not disclosed when we first became patients. He refuses to support modern treatments like weight-loss medications, dismissing them entirely. If you're looking for a doctor who actually treats conditions, listens to patient concerns, and is available when you need care--this is not the place. On one occasion, he even came to my appointment wearing pajama bottoms because he had been napping upstairs. His office has an apartment above it where he sleeps between shifts, and he literally came down half-asleep to see me, which felt completely unprofessional. Please think twice before trusting your health or your loved ones' care to Dr. Ojutelayo.
