Today, they called in my sister in law. I suspect it was a tactic to intimidate her because they fear legal action. Their solution was to terminate the suspension for both teens, offering no consequences for the bully, who had made death threats against my niece. Following the assault and consequent mockery from other students, which staff seems to let slide, my niece does not want to return to Larkin because she, obviously, doesn't feel safe there. P.s. That gesture meant so much, not just because of the replacement, but because it turned a disappointing experience into a positive one and encouraged my daughter to keep learning and enjoying plants.
