However, I can say without a doubt that I wholeheartedly trust the staff at La Petite LITH. My 5-year old is an energetic social butterfly who is extremely curious and the customized approach with which they took care of her was amazing. She graduated from junior kindergarten today and she has made it very clear that she is going to miss her teacher, Ms Christi. I would recommend this daycare without hesitation! Very clean environment, professional and friendly staff, large outdoor play area, secure entrance, parent-teacher conferences.

If you want to send your child to a place where it is perfectly "normal and acceptable" to be hit…read moreand kicked by other kids with no reprocusions or care then by all means proceed on. But first let me tell you what happened to my daughter, she was pushed down out a playtube on the play ground and the kid proceeded to kick my daughter over and over again while my daughter is screaming out for the kid to stop and that they were hurting her. When asked to speak to someone I was told I would get a call..I didn't get one, I heard nothing until I went in 2 days later. I requested the footage..it just so convenienly is "deleted" after 24hrs. One can only wonder if this was why I was ignored and was never given a call. They try to down play it "I'm sorry your child was kicked" ummm no, my child was not just kicked. Nothing was or is being done about it. Since it's "normal and acceptable" behavior! Do your research, I'm far from the first to pull my children! If you want peace of mind while you are working and can not be with your children, then please find somewhere else! It's sad, they go through so many teachers..i no longer wonder why. But there are and have been some good teachers that actually care! It is disorganized with your children constantly being transferred back and forth from class room to class room leaving you never knowing where to drop them off or pick them up. Considering the cost (even of you get government assistance), this place is not the place to send any child!

My daughter is in the preschool room currently with Miss Shilbee and she is always so excited to tell me about her days when I pick her up. we can really see how much education is built into the activities the kids do, and it's always made to be fun. I've been so happy to see my daughter develop her writing and cuttings skills, as well as develop a lot of confidence in school with the guidance of Miss Shilbee. She provides excellent communication with us as parents too, and I know my daughter just loves being in her room. We also have a son there in the toddler room. When he was first enrolled at just 3 months old I always felt so comfortable leaving him in the care of Miss Linda and Miss Melanie, and really like the way they divide up the very young infants and more moving/walking infants into two separate rooms. It is always nerve wracking to go back to work after the postpartum period, but seeing my son snuggled up in Karen or his teachers arms comfortable and happy made it a much easier transition during that time. he is now in the toddler room and has been doing so well, today he didn't even want to leave when I came to pick him up. my son loves the entire staff there and always has to stop by the director Miss Karen's office to wave "hi" and "bye" when we come and go. overall, I can honestly say we highly recommend this daycare to anyone

Finding a new preschool turned out to be the easiest and best decision we've made so far! Some of our new neighbors casually mentioned Algonquin Preschool, so we scheduled a visit. My little guy was immediately comfortable with the teachers (and he's usually very shy at first!) and they let him stay and play as long as he wanted to. We immediately felt that this was the school for us. The environment was warm and friendly, and you can tell that a lot of thought goes into the planning of the classrooms and planning out the school year. The teachers all genuinely care about your child, and the focus is on PLAY. Play is the way preschoolers learn, and my son has shown so much social and emotional progress in his first year of school. We're so happy with our decision to send him here, and are so excited to send him again next year before he goes off to kindergarten :)
