I'm not sure what else to do, and I am apparently out of options trying to reach this company's corporate office and mailing department. This company has been bombarding my family with mail to my dead father for two and a half years now. I have called more times than I can count and am always promised that they'll take us off of the mailing list, yet month after month, we receive their solicitation. My father was 47 when he died BTW, so he certainly wasn't needing these services. Seeing that his youngest child (me) was out of high school when he died as well, none of my family need these services. We never have, nor could we afford them as I have gathered they're rather expensive. I'm tired of being reminded that my dad is gone. This mail keeps slipping through the cracks no matter how many "Deceased, RTS" I put back into the mailbox. This is exhausting. Leave my family and I alone. We're done. We're tired. read more

UPDATE: A year later, the owner posted a rebuttal, so I'll clarify my original review. We paid Huntington a significant amount of money, specifically for test prep. When our son took the test, NOTHING that Huntington covered with him was on the test. The issue was NOT testing under grade level when Huntington did their initial test, which is designed to get the unsuspecting parent to pay more, by the way (all part of their sales funnel). The issue was that Huntington didn't do what we paid them to do. Our son bombed the test/exam we paid to have him prepped for because, in both my opinion and his, he wasn't prepared. After that, I began researching online and found an online prep book. I spent a week prepping him on my own and he retook the test and scored high enough to be accepted into the school. Since then, he has made honor roll twice, in his grade level (the one the owner claimed he tested under in their test, used to justify what they want to charge you as a parent). So I'll point this out again, in case you missed it the first time, the test that Huntington gives when they first accept students is more of a sales tool for their funnel than it is a true gauge of a students academic level. Based on our experience, we believe that this Huntington location (and Sharon, the owner) are far more concerned about getting customers into their sales funnel than they are in actually "delivering" what they promise when they're enticing you to sign up. I'll give them credit where due though, their sales funnel is very well designed. They engage parents emotions well and they get paid big bucks for doing so. As a person who understands sales, I'd give them an A+, but as a paying customer, I'd give them an F. ** ORIGINAL REVIEW ** DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH THIS PLACE!! We sent our son here for test prep and, in hindsight, it was a major mistake. While they promise the sun, moon and stars, they certainly don't deliver it after you pay. In my opinion, they were worried about one thing and one thing only - MONEY. The scam starts when they get you in the door and test your child, then make unnecessary recommendations. It continues as long as you're willing to keep cutting checks. I can honestly say that after thousands of dollars and many wasted hours, my child is no better off than he was when we started at Huntington in Longwood. read more

My daughter needed assistance with her high school work and after testing her and recommending a plan they diligently followed through. We had meetings every few weeks to make sure that everything was on track and I got to see my daughter blossom. Thank you all so much! read more

We couldn't be happier with everyone at Huntington! My daughter started her program a few months ago and has thrived! She was able to end the school year on a high note, her confidence has skyrocketed and she's shown huge growth throughout the summer. If you ask her about her time with Huntington she'll tell you she loves it... this coming from a girl who's struggled thru school since day 1! Directors Mary Linda and Jennifer have been with us every step of the way answering all of our questions and concerns...supporting, encouraging and congratulating our daughter thru every step of her program to ensure she's exactly where she needs to be when school starts in 3 weeks.
