I am so appalled at the previous review of Galileo School for Gifted Learning that I had to respond…read morewith my own 5***** recommendation. My three grandchildren have been students for the past 6 years and their education has been excellent. Galileo believes that all of their students have talents waiting to be discovered and the teachers and support staff help them find "themselves". They provide the guidance, the tools, the support and the FUN that all Florida students would love to be part of. Galileo is currently opening their second campus because there are so many children in Seminole County that want to be part of this fantastic school. Their parents have heard about the student success at Galileo, entered their kids into an enrollment lottery that has twice the number of applicants as slots. If that isn't a testimony of success I don't know what is! If you are interested in visiting the school for the 1921/22 school year (they have a full student body for this 1920/21 year) look at the school website, the parent reviews and the state of Florida statistics. I am confident your children will have the same fantastic, memorable educational experience my grandkids are.

My son's confidence is a prime example of that. He went from not speaking to anyone to knowing and speaking to just about everyone. Allen was extremely smart and knew what he was talking about, but somehow made extremely dull content entertaining. He had us all laughing day after day! After my experience at the pre license class, I definitely plan on doing my continuing education at Climer.

Safety does not seem to be a priority, as the front door is often left unlocked, even when there is no one at the front desk. Additionally, they suggested placing my 18-month-old child with the 3-year-olds simply because he is chubbier than the other kids in his age group, despite the fact that the 3-year-olds are significantly larger and taller than my child. Every time I pick up my son, he is wearing soiled clothes, indicating that they are not using the extra clothes I provided. Furthermore, the director has threatened to file a false report with the Department of Children and Families, claiming that I was over 30 minutes late for pick-up, which is not true. Lastly, she has failed to properly investigate the staff member responsible for placing an unknown substance in my child's diaper. She told me it was muffins but failed to explain how it got into his diaper and on his private parts. I request a diaper change record which I usually receive everyday with previous center but she claimed that they do not provide that for my 18 month old
