BACON, EGGS and PRIME RIB all in the same place!!…read more First off you'll walk in and find handsome butchers to cut up and package your meat perfectly lol Super nice upon entry I had to buy from these guys! Bacon and prime rib were both sliced to order. I could smell the bacon as soon as we walked in it was awesome. The fact they sell fresh eggs was a bonus. Yes, incredible bacon. Just cooked the prime rib, it was about 4.5 pounds. Simply roasted medium rare it came out amazing. I will be back next time I'm in town. Thank you!

Every…read morespecialty store or food store I go in, I check to see if they have another variety of this delicious "BBQ-Marinade-Dipping" sauce. Recently, I stumbled upon the mustard variety and it was so delicious I went back to the same store searching for more. It sold out!! Of course, in today's connected society, I discovered I could order direct from the source. Let me say, this place is legit. I ordered a jug, yes a JUG, of the mustard style sauce and a jar of their newest Mountain Apple. My other half wanted to change our dinner plans the night the sauces arrived out of sheer excitement to try it. Everything down to the packaging is top notch. As silly is it sounds, even the tape they sealed the box with! This is one of those American businesses we should be proud of. Thank you so much, Steve and Cheryl!

A friend told us about this Location that there is a meat market here with great meat. This is located across from the post office we go to. Come to find out the name has changed from Sammy's to Drop in Family Market. I had just bought a bunch of meat to freeze so I waited to buy anything. Just wanted but will for sure come back real soon to buy some steaks. Crazy we hadn't heard about this place before now. Over all it's a good size store and they carry pretty much everything you need. Clean and welll organized. Besides being a gas station. Will be back soon and will update then.

Guernsey Girl Creamery is the kind of place you stumble across once and then tell everyone you know…read moreabout. It's a small family dairy farm on Bridges Dairy Road near Polkville, raising Golden Guernsey cows and turning their Grade A milk into some of the best dairy products you're going to find anywhere in this area. The farm stand runs on an honor system. You grab what you want from the refrigerators and freezers under the shed, weigh your produce if needed, and pay via Venmo or leave exact change in the jar. It's an old school setup and it works. The selection changes daily but you'll typically find fresh cheese curds, butter, yogurt, milk, eggs, baked goods, honey, canned goods, and fresh produce. Everything is made or grown right here. The ice cream is the thing that gets people talking and it earns it. Made from their own cows' milk, flavors like peanut butter chocolate, cheesecake, and mint are all excellent. You can grab a scoop and sit at the picnic tables while the kids watch the calves in the pasture, which is a pretty hard experience to beat on a weekend afternoon. This is local agriculture at its best. A small operation doing things right and worth every visit.
