Dr, Nelson is so great!. she is not one of those pop in and out doctors, so if your appointment…read moretime is running a little late- you will soon know why. she is very caring and asks you lots of questions about your child. makes sure you have all the prescriptions you need, any equipment you may need for your disabled child. makes sure you understand the care plan, even to give you a drug schedule if you need to build up to a certain dose. she answers any questions you have and makes sure you are clear on the answer. She has a great personality, she even asks what other doctors appointments or tests or procedures the child is having and makes sure to share information with those doctors so that everyone is on the same page. I highly recommend this doctor and i dont mind drving the 40 miles to visit!

Let me start off by saying I am Not a headache or migraine…read moresufferer. So why was seen here lol My ENT sent me to Dr Karner I have alot of facial pain , across my nose an eyes. Nobody can figure it out allergy tests negative an sinuses look good they say. Dr Karner listened to what I thought sounds crazy but he was very nice. Asking not just about my medical but about me. Which pretty much leads us to the high volume of stress in my life an I grind my teeth in my sleep like Im eating steak all night lol He was great we are trying a medicine to see if it will help:) He thought outside the box which I like he didn't just move me along an say I cant help you very refreshing. If your looking for a neurologist seek this practice for Dr Karner :)

I would never recommend Carolina NeuroSurgery & Spine Associates to anyone…read more In March, my doctor referred me to Dr. Paul Kim at this clinic for treatment. For nearly two months, I repeatedly tried to schedule an appointment. Every time I called, I was told that Dr. Kim would not accept patients without a referral. However, my pain management doctor's office repeatedly confirmed that they had already faxed the referral to the exact fax number provided by your clinic. They even faxed it again while I was sitting in the office so I could personally see that it had been sent. Yet every time I contacted your clinic, I was told that nothing had been received. To make matters worse, two employees in the appointment department treated me very disrespectfully. At the beginning of one call, I explained that English is my second language. Instead of being patient, the employee repeatedly said, "Hold on, hold on. I don't understand what you're saying," in a rude tone. She connected an interpreter, but after the call, the interpreter told me, "You didn't need an interpreter at all." I told him that I knew that, and that this was the first time I had ever been treated so disrespectfully because English is not my first language. Eventually, another employee scheduled me for an appointment at the Charlotte office, nearly 50 miles from my home, and the appointment was two months away. Because I was living with unbearable pain, I accepted it. Before ending the call, I specifically asked, "Just to confirm, I will be seeing Dr. Paul Kim, correct?" The employee clearly answered, "Yes." I then spent another two months suffering through severe pain, often in tears, while waiting for that appointment. When I finally arrived at the clinic, after being sent from one department to another, I was informed that I would not be seeing Dr. Kim at all. Instead, I had been scheduled with a provider from Dr. J,McGirt team--not even Dr. McGill herself. When I asked why my doctor had been changed without informing me or obtaining my consent, I was told that Dr. Kim had become Board President and that "maybe that's why" I had been switched to another provider. Changing a patient's physician without any notice or consent is completely unacceptable. I waited four months in severe pain specifically to see Dr. Kim, only to learn after arriving that my appointment had been changed. The only response I received was a simple apology. After four months of unnecessary suffering, poor communication, misinformation, and disrespectful treatment, a simple apology is not enough. Patients deserve honesty, respect, and clear communication--especially when they are already dealing with severe pain. This has been one of the worst healthcare experiences I have ever had, and I cannot recommend this clinic to anyone. I gave one star because without that don't let me to write reviews
