I was picturing full stems draped over the rice but that's just me. I love asparagus. The iced chocolate was almost a meal in itself. Beautifully presented and unashamedly topped with whipped cream. A few minor points were the small amount of car spaces, with plenty of cars parked roadside; and finding the cafe entrance. Maybe we missed it or perhaps it was located elsewhere pre COVID. Boasting Sprocket Coffee gets them off to a good start in my books. Haven't tried an actual coffee yet but I did order a coffee milkshake. Yum! Not only do they use a shot of espresso but specially made coffee ice cubes to avoid giving me a warm shake. Smart eh?! The next best thing to me us that they serve the milkshake in a glass...and give me the left overs to enjoy. Spot on in my books. I was talking to someone recently that is a pet peeve when they don't do this. Definite points there. Prices of the coffee and drinks are good.... Especially a milkshake at $4.90. Food here is made in house from cakes to wraps. Daily specials are available at a good price, mostly great creative and combination salads in this summer weather. The woman behind the counter was friendly, but it was in that insincere over the top working class friendly, "How ya goin love, wot can i do you for?" When I paid it was similar with little if any eye contact. There are important body language message in greeting and welcoming customers into your extablishment. I love my black coffee to have a rich, deep, dark crema that I can suck the coffee through on the first sip. This coffee was dish water thin and with a shallow weak flavour. It had very little body or depth.

There's room for about 80 people. Great for groups or pairs. Vibes: Warners Bay is nice. Seems lowkey but not so really. It's a popular place for the locals as there are a lot of shops there and a gorgeous lake to walk around. The spot itself has a nice clean and friendly charm. They got a tv and some pretty nice fancy decor such as their paintings of blue leaves or their lighting to keep you entertained and feel in a vibrant place. Great for family and friends. I had the lamb sandwich and a flat white with soy - the coffee was bitter and sweet at the same time, exactly how i expect a blend of soy and coffee - the sandwich was made fresh so i was in love on the spot, the had yoghurt in it, that was a smart add. I would recommend shredding the lamb after grilling and then mix it with the grilled onion on the grill for less than a minute - get those brilliant mixers together. First glance had me thinking we'd be told the same at Table 1. It is at least twice the size as the previous cafe and I think we scored the last free table. I asked the waitress if there was a wait and was told no, food is coming out regularly. We were given water and a very extensive menu. After a quick look over we agreed on a 'no repeat order' policy when we return as so many things sounded great. The type you could start at the top and work your way through. After both ordering a burger we decided to stopwatch the wait for meals. We received ours after 18mins. May I repeat, the place was packed! My American and partners wagyu burgers were large and delicious. My partner isn't a fan of sweet potato but I loved the mixture of sweet to normal chips ratio that came as a side with ranch sauce. After watching my partner very messily cut his in half I decided on eating mine as they should be eaten. Whole and two hands required! I could not fault it. Cheese never stands out to me on a burger but the American cheddar was terrific. We couldn't help notice the quick turn over and teamwork shown to clear tables ready for more customers. We watched at least 4 and each was cleared, cleaned and reset within about 30 seconds. The price came to $58 for the 2 meals and 2 drinks. I very rarely tip and often feel a little offended at the expectation when I see that jar or tray sitting so obviously at the register. I left a tip here. I'll leave it at that.
