Boy what a stunning place they have created. It has gone through renovations over the past year…read moreduring Covid and boy they don't disappoint. Fitting in with the nursery theme but a very unexpected elegance of a high end restaurant. Their food presentation couldn't be faulted and the tastes of dish complimented everything about it. I came in tired, looking for something new. I came out feeling refreshed. It was a great experience and one I intend to make regular. Staff were friendly, the ambiance relaxed, airy and open. So much to see while you wait with lots of explosions of colour. Thank you for thinking outside the box and creating such a vibrant space.

The menu is tasteful and doesn't bombard you with too many options. My mum loved her chicken pot pie and was surprised to find a darker filling than the normal mornay appearance. Crispy skinned salmon is always a winner for me. I was a little disappointed that the asparagus mentioned was a small amount sliced into the lemon risotto. I was picturing full stems draped over the rice but that's just me. I love asparagus. The iced chocolate was almost a meal in itself. Beautifully presented and unashamedly topped with whipped cream. A few minor points were the small amount of car spaces, with plenty of cars parked roadside; and finding the cafe entrance. Maybe we missed it or perhaps it was located elsewhere pre COVID. As it stands we weaved our way through pots and plants until we saw it down the other end. Not that that will stop me from returning for a breakfast visit next time.

I've only enjoyed this place a few times so far. Not been disappointed…read more Coffee has been good and I like the way they have put this place together. The tables I find interesting and the use of space is relaxed. I don't like sitting in someone else's pocket so this place is good for me. Included in the decor are things of interest which keeps you looking about while you wait for your drinks or food. There is some outdoor seating which puts you right by the road. If you don't mind the traffic noise you do get a bit of a view across the road to Lake Macquarie. So far it's my go to place when I go down to the lake.

Going inside to order revealed a relaxed decor, fun wall display of hanging menus and a service counter filled on both sides with beautifully presented pastries. The display really caught my eye; very nicely done and I'm not sure how I contained the urge to order something from it. I was in the mood for a sandwich and my partner quickly pointed out the Qubano and I was sold. Essentially ham and cheese with flare, served with chips. It smelled a little odd, probably the mustard, but tasted wonderful. The chocolate thick shake I ordered was large but needed more chocolate with most of it drizzled along the inside of the cup rather than in the drink itself. I had to keep scraping the sides with my straw to amp up the flavour.

Nice to see they have moved into a larger and better advertised space than their previous location in the arcade. The menu has more to choose from too. First time was a hot chocolate and Big A breakfast. The mug was a good size and so was the breakfast. Tomato, mushrooms, bacon, sausages, hash brown and eggs how you like them. The toast was the only let down as the type used (Turkish bread perhaps) was difficult to cut. Today I tried my first ever smoothie bowl. More than just a prettily presented trend and I hope this one doesn't pass. Really tasty! The granola was terrific and pulled it together perfectly. I'm not sure if tart or sour best describes the yoghurt, but when combined with the other elements was enjoyable. I also ordered an English breakfast tea which gave 2 very generous cupfuls. Safe to say I left full! Only downer; ladies toilet was a little dirty and no paper towel to dry my hands.

All along here there is a nice, relaxed, village atmosphere that I love. They have an all-day breakfast, which is always a hit with me. Scrambled eggs (free range) = great. We came here for a casual lunch and here was our experience…read more AMBIANCE: Parking: Street parking and metered parking. It can get busy as this area is a popular spot for tourist and locals Seating: Patio seating and indoor seating. Lot of room for groups or individuals. Maybe about 100 people. Vibes: Warner's Bay is lovely and simple. I liked how the area is right across the lake. The spot itself has a nice vintage yet playful charm. You'll see old electronics such as a tv and other displays with some cartoons. You can either enjoy the background chatter, cooking, or the lite rock. A lovely place to walk, reflect, and dine by yourself, with your friend, or family. FOOD: Sticky Pork Belly Bites (Recommend) For something rich and less carby this is great! The pork was crunchy and had a good ratio of crunchy skin, flavorful pork fat and meat. I had the sauce on the side which provided a nice spicy kick and creamy texture. The arugula on the side helped provide balance to the flavor or texture Green (Fresh Juice) (Recommend) A refreshing cold mix of apple, cucumber, lemon, and kale. A nice balance of earthy sweet, tart, and crispness. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Great! Friendly people and we got our orders in a timely matter. TL; DR OVERALL: 4 Stars. Good selections of food, reasonable price, and a pleasant experience. This place is a lovely place to wind down and enjoy what Warners Bay has to offer - food, environment, etc. If I'm back here, I am curious about their wood-fired pizza! TIPS: * Awesome place to dine and enjoy the view or accessibility to the lake!

We shared the pork belly entree to start. Nicely presented with a colourful salad dressed well with Asian flavours. Some people don't like sesame oil but if that's what I was tasting I couldn't fault it. The pork was moist and the crackling enough to tease you. My linguine marinara was hot, saucy and had a fair ratio of seafood. Octopus, prawns, mussels and squid. (I did find a fly right at the end but pretty sure I swatted it off my head. We were seated on the balcony) My mums mussaman curry didn't pack much heat but was melt in the mouth and the cumin rice was fluffy and a great accompaniment. I've heard mixed things but we were both happy with our experience.
