    Vego Board with smoked salmon
    Joann Y.

Came for brunch, and it was just darling! I arrived in the early morning to find a quaint cottage within what I would call a ranch. It fit perfectly into the Hunter Valley area and aesthetic. Service: The staff were all very nice and busy. I know it's hard to keep up when you're one of the few cute eateries in the area. Service was a little bit slow, but at the same time, they were very on top of things. We were out in the sun, and that Aussie sun is warm! That was the only drawback if any, but hey, I know they can't control weather. Food: Ordered the smashed pea toastie and vego board with smoked salmon. Both were simple and delicious. I loved the vego board! The roasted pepper pesto went perfect with the feta and egg on the toastie. It was my first time having smashed peas. My Aussie friend tells me it was a usual dish, but it was new for me... and I liked it. Different, but it worked so well as a spread on toast. I was impressed. Coffee was also tasty. Doubly impressed. Overall would come again if I'm ever in the Hunter Valley area!

Cafe Enzo is located within the Peppers Creek village; inspired by Tuscan ambience and life. Their menu boasts of handmade and locally produced meals, ranging from continental breakfasts, bowls, delicious/fresh sides, salads, seafood, desserts and much more. We ordered their veg breakfast board and I forget the name of mine, but it had two slices of sourdough, lemon, salmon, cream cheese (?) and it might have been their tomato chutney (?)... The Linguini with Tiger Prawns

A beautiful property which gets very busy. Book ahead. The Linguini with Tiger Prawns is their specialty and should not be missed.

Mmm, mmm, mmm...! Cafe Enzo was all we could have hoped for. This place came recommended for the lunch stop during our full day of wine tasting in the Hunter Valley - one of Australia's most well-known wine regions just two and half hours North of Sydney. We spent this past long weekend in the region with our friends Ryan and Sara and the whole trip was pretty amazing. We were not at all disappointed by any of the meals we had on the trip starting off with Cafe Enzo. The restaurant itself is situated on the Pepper Creek Village grounds. The inside of the restaurant looked cozy, but we were seated in the beautiful outdoor area. We got very lucky with the weather! It's open for breakfast and lunch, and while the menu is a bit pricy for lunch - it's well worth it for the quality and portion size. Joe, our driver, had recommended the linguini dish ($29.50) so McKay and Sara both had that. It was delicious. Linguini made on-site served with Tiger Prawns, sausage and fresh chili. Spicy and filling - I almost wished I'd ordered it as well. I was not at all disappointed with the Risotto dish I ordered ($36). It was served with King Prawns wrapped in Prosciutto - really can't go wrong with anything wrapped in Prosciutto!

A lovely old stone cafe with all the country charm that one comes to expect while in the Hunter Valley. Out on the front lawn is a large Connect Four game, hoop throw, and croquet. The staff here are nice and always appeared to be hard at work. Sitting outside in the sun is the best way to enjoy breakfast. Hot drinks come with a Tiny Teddy which is a cute touch, something to nibble on while you wait. Not that you have to wait long. The 'Enzo' Big Breakfast is not without its flaws - the biggest being that my scrambled eggs came out as an omelette. Just the smell of omelettes makes my stomach turn. The toast it was served on could have been used as a doorstop. The bacon and mushrooms were still very enjoyable. The Egg and Bacon roll was a real hit. The pita roll had the right amount of bite and chewiness to it. The sweetness of the homemade tomato chutney cut through the saltiness of the bacon and brought harmony to the fired eggs. Sensational. Chai lattes had a balanced flavour. Not too sweet and very smooth. A great place to visit but I believe that it's overpriced.

One of the best places to eat in the Hunter Valley... so good we went back for seconds! Having been recommended this restaurant by our wine tour operator (Boutique wine and gourmet food trail), our group was very impressed by not only the good service of the wait staff, but also the quality of the food. I had the home made prawn linguini with Chorizo.. which was delicious and ample in size (so definitely worth the $). Others had the burger and caesar salad, of which feedback was also positive! For seconds (the next day) I had the big breakfast - although not 'big' in size, the food served tasted amazing and certainly filled me up (with three eggs served, who wouldn't!). Oh, and they serve Campos coffee - enough said. Definitely coming back to this place if i'm up in the Hunter again.

Lovely afternoon tea , served in a tranquil setting.

Enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea. Had the scones jam and cream and served on a storybook. The staff was lovely and the setting was tranquil.

Great breakfast located in a stone cottage. We visited on a Wednesday morning and easily got a table in the shade outside. I got the chorizo benedict which was delicious, nice orange runny yolks. My wife got the vego breakfast board (on a plate), she really liked it and slightly fell in love with the asparagus. Coffees were really tasty too.

Worst lemon tart of all time!!
    Tamer M.

Expensive. Gimmicky. Not very friendly. Specifically the lemon tart was one of the worst thing ever tasted. I wanted to cut my tongue off to remove the taste from my taste buds. And the chips was so large that you wondered whether it was one large potato can't in half and fried. The atmosphere is nice but that's about it.

From the hand sliced chips to the honey and roe to the chicken fat butter. I don't know how to express the deliciousness of this menu and the skills in this kitchen. Service was outstanding. We were obviously overhead stating we needed to come back the next day when the cellar door was open to get a bottle of wine, and they came to us with it offering it at cellar door prices! That is service, that is class. Deliciousness!!!

There are multiple bachelorette parties happening while we were here. We were seated it to very long tables, unfortunately I pick the seat really far from our host and couldn't hear any of the exclamations even though she tried to speak over the noisy patio. We were given cheeses that accompanied each of the four tastings. The tastings were ridiculously tiny so little I really didn't get a feel for any of the wines so I have no opinion on any of them. If you do have lunch there, you have to try their Crisp Pork Belly with spiced Chats potato, pickled cabbage, candy apples and Cider Jus. It's tasty, the candy apples and the crispy pork belly just go together beautifully, and the jus just complements the dish. The pickled cabbage You can go without, it didn't add anything to the dish. The Prawns with garlic, tomato, chilli and handmade Pappardelle is also delicious. They also have kids' menu. The place is spacious with plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. I will definitely come again for a nice relaxing lunch the next time we're in the area.
