I have repeatedly contacted the Hunt Management office to request a refund for an additional Gate key I received on February 24, 2026. Two keys were distributed to the owners last summer, but I informed them that I only required one key. I am in the process of selling my unit and require the extra key for a Lock Box on the Gate. I signed a form last summer confirming my receipt of one key, but the office has been unable to produce the form after multiple attempts via email and voicemail. They initially quoted me $30 for the additional key, but subsequently charged my account $40 for the key I received. I've also asked if I can return the extra Key once for a refund, and yet to receive a reply. Despite my inquiry regarding the form I signed, I have not received any response. As a real estate agent, I have never dealt with a worse management company. The lender and buyers agent were trying to work with Angela R. to get the normal documents they needed to close. She would not get them to them. I took the initiative to call her as well to explain how urgent this was. Even the day before closing show was dismissing us like we were the ones bothering here. The deal almost didnt close because of a lazy management company. I made calls to try to find someone else in their company who would help. Arielle F. was the only one there who cared and was very helpful. The manager of Angela, Terry H., also dismissed the urgent situation as nothing. He did not show concern and did ask for more information to remedy the situation. Angela should be fired, I've never dealt with such a rude person in my life. Avoid this company!!! read more

Unfortunately so far a money pit since this new business took over. Rude and neglect basic needs like your neighbors and your condo blowing up because of them needing to repair GAS LEAK took over a year for them to care. Called multiple times nothing but poor service. Now, I could add a lot more complaints but I'm aware they don't handle criticism well and I'm SICK from all the petty and mundane fees they keep adding, because even at the meeting one of the managers said I cannot make this up "we don't know how to figure out the budglet." I am sad that I live in a place where I am not empowered to attend Association Board meetings, run for the board or feel the board and management company respect and value the residents and owners. The Board President at Rivers Edge refers to the residents as inmates at the asylum. He walks the grounds as a paid janitor supervisor arguing and yelling at residents - "If you don't like it move." He has been found sleeping in the office during work hours and shares residents private information. The president manipulated the number of folks running for board seats to eliminate the need for an election. The president and manager have successfully partnered to create a less than desirable place to live...and the grounds are suffering as well. It' just so sad. read more

I am a current condo owner at the Rivers Edge location in Brown Deer, Wisconsin. Maintenance staff has a select group of residents that they enteract with. I am a 20 year retiree of law enforcement. They watch me like a hawk when I go in and out of my condo. When maintenence sees me they stop talking or walk away instead of saying good morning or afternoon. On Monday, November 25, 2024, I reviewed a 72 hour tow notice on my vehicle. I NEVER received a notice before. Most of the time a mass email would be sent out to all residents reminding them. No resident has memorized all of the "bylaws." I thought this obrupt approach was extremely unprofessional. When I called and emailed Antoinette Collins at the Hunt Management office in Mequon, Wisconsin, I was treated like I was bothering them. She indicated on her email response to me that I only needed to send one email regarding this issue. I pay over $400 a month for HOA fees and this is the way I was treated. Hunt Management does nothing but collect money and put liens and foreclosures on homes. They don't return phone calls, they ignore homeowners complaints and they tell nothing but lies. Hunt Management needs to be investigated thoroughly. I have been complaining about a problem I have been dealing with for 4 years and 8 months about my neighbor's floors above me and I've been ignored. No one ever came to investigate my complaint and the State law says they have to investigate nuisance. In the end I will win with my evidence, letters, and audio. The rating of Hunt Management is below ZERO !!! They think, that they own the world and they are above the Law !!! I have 2 properties in different Associations : Cherrywood and Rivers Edge, managed by Hunt. Everywhere, where Hunt shows up, prepare to open up your wallet. They start projects all over the property and clean up Association accounts really quick. They rip off residents on every step of the way and the amounts are very high. Declaration and ByLaws are for residents, not for them. They do, whatever, they want, based on their sick opinion , without forcing themselves to follow Association Documents and State Laws, going unpunished, unless you hire your own attorney, because without a lawyer it's no chance to prove anything to them ! When you are trying to contact them on the issues, don't expect to resolve anything for several reasons, like they have different opinion, or t6hey ignore your calls and emails. If you want to address your complaint on prop. manager, it will be given back to the manager, you are complaining about and in a best case, you will have a response from him or her. Absolute crap company. They have no problem taking your money, but if you need something from them, don't hold your breath. I had two instances that should have been in their realm, and they refused to help in either case. I had water coming through my basement drain, and after having it snakes past the required 150ft, proving it wasn't my fault, I called them only to be told it was still my problem. Later the issue was quietly fixed without my knowledge. The second time I had bees IN MY WALLS coming from outside, while it technically fell under their jurisdiction as per my condo association guidelines, they flat out refused. And when I threatened a lawsuit if injury occurred for either my wife or 8 year old son, the manager, Todd simply said "go ahead". They also hire sub par contractors for snow removal, which requires myself or my wife to do most snow removal ourselves. read more

Without a doubt the worst management company in Milwaukee. They will take every last penny from their renters or owners in order to maintain their 1970s buildings. During a global pandemic they even charged us move in and out fees for our renters. I would avoid any building managed by Hunt unless you really love paying a premium for outdated decor, workout rooms that consist of a broken treadmill and a few weights and a "communal room" that has yellowing books from the 1970s and goodwill furniture. Since hiring Hunt last year, their team has taken so much pressure and stress off of our BOD! In that short amount of time they've totally turned our condo property around for the Better. I'm not understanding the negative reviews as we continue to be impressed by their organization and promptness to every issue. I've been on our board of directors for many yrs and have seen mgmt companies come and go many times. In our opinion, there's really no competition. I'm very disappointed in Rob at Hunt Management because he is supposed to be an advocate for the residents in our building, but he only advocates for the commercial owner.....at great expense to the residential owners!! Hunt Management managed our condo building for several years ... and they ran the place into the ground. They left us $43,000 in debt, and now each resident of the complex is paying for it. I don't know where our monthly dues went - they certainly didn't go toward maintaining the building. My maintenance requests weren't answered, even after eight months. If you're looking for a management company, you need to look elsewhere. I'm glad we have a new management company now. So long, Hunt. Don't let the other comments turn you off to this company. Remember nobody likes the management firm. This company is very professional, always helpful and will do whatever they can to get the job done. When they took over for our condo association our buildings were awful. I can't say they are currently amazing but it all takes time. They have gotten our board back on track and the buildings are starting to improve.
