WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO THIS PLACE? Went here recently for lunch. Was expecting the buffet they used to have, and found out all they were offering were combo plates. Three different meat choices -- sweet and sour ribs, dry breaded pork, or sesame chicken -- with rice or noodles, and with Chop Suey, and consomme to start. $9.99, and you could also get another or extra order of meat for an additional $3.00. No regular menu in effect, or at least we weren't offered one I ordered the sweet and sour ribs, and it took me back to 1973, when I lived in the bush, in a town with no Chinese restaurant, and we were all cooking from recipes from Wok with Yan! The rice was okay (it's hard to screw up fried rice); the Chop Suey reminded me of the two can format of Chun King, and the ribs were like those cooked in a pot on the stove by my mother, with the ketchup/brown sugar sweet and sour sauce, and the meat with rubbery bones and all! I had the Sesame Chicken on the side as an extra; it was dry, with no sauce. And no soy sauce or salt and pepper on the table? Like, WTF? All in all a rather pathetic experience. Always loved hungs butter chicken and their specialty dishes. The last time we ordered take out the hot and sour soup we were disappointed. It had dark broth and tofu in it that's it. It also had some hot pepper spice was so spiced couldn't eat it. We are fans of hot and sour soup but was so disappointed that I went to the Chinese food market and went and bought the ingredients and made my own. The ingredients to make this soup don't cost alot of money. I am just wondering why hungs can't use at least 3/4 of the ingredients that is required to make traditional hot and sour soup. read more

Excellent food and great service! There's a buffet for $9.95, the chow mein and fried rice is perfect! Chicken is so crispy! They have some soups too that are good. Will definitely come back! read more

Always had take out from there. Their soup taste like salt. Don't order the sweet and sour shrimp... there's too much breading and the shrimp seems to be missing, not worth it. read more

Delivery was fast and friendly. Egg foo young was very tasty. Pork fried rice was good. Kung pao chicken was too sweet and not spicy enough.

My husband and I stopped by Hung's Garden. The staff was very attentive. We ordered our meal, 2 combo plates. They brought out consommé soup to start with. The meal was out shortly after. The food was hot and tasty. We had water with the meal. The staff came regularly to fill our glass. As we sat we saw several people come take huge bags or boxes of food as take out. That was reassuring, I mean who would order so much food if it wasn't good. We weren't disappointed. We'll be back! read more

A place for deep fried batter. Some of the chicken pieces were chicken free, just batter. The pieces are huge, so if you hit the jackpot and find a shrimp or piece of chicken inside, it is miniscule! Having lived in Vancouver for the past 30 years, I was missing the Chinese food I grew up with. But this sucked. I spent $70 on take-out, it was worth $7. read more

visiting family in Winnipeg and ordered delivery from hung's this afternoon. Order took an hour and ten minutes and was told 45.food was cold and mediocre. Fried items seemed day old with no crunch at all. Owner delivered and told him about my dissatisfaction and he didn't even apologize. Kinda just smirked at me as he walked away. Terrible customer service and experience. Will not go back or recommend. read more

Been going here for years. Consistantly good quality Chinese food. Friendly service. The Ginger Beef is excellent!

The food is almost always well prepared, served hot and nicely presented. The staff are great and very accommodating.
