I was very confused before coming to this restaurant because it's hard to find information or photos of the food. Some places said there was a Buffett but there wasn't one when we arrived so we ordered off a menu. We were given a paper menu and a pen and then the employee walked away. We sat there for about ten minutes before anyone came over. We went with two spring rolls (which weren't very good in our opinion. There was a lot of seasoning which made them almost sweet) I wouldn't recommend them. We also went with sesame chicken, it was good but again very sweet. The dish came with rice on the side as well. I would order this again as the chicken was crispy and food. The last thing we ordered was the chicken lomein. This was a huge order! No way you could eat it yourself. While it was good we felt a little confused as the noodles felt more like a chowmein. Unknown if we would order it again. Our total came to $35 for two people without drinks. We collected and packaged our own to go boxes from the side and really didn't have any customer service to write about. I would definitely check out another spot before returning.

Service could have been a bit more attentive and friendly but honestly the food was so delicious we'd come back without giving it a second thought. They change the plastic tablecloth after each group leaves and it keeps the place going quickly seating new diners. Food comes out fresh and hot though not all at once which actually works great for dim sum. The fried rice was amazing, I usually add more soy to give it some flavor but this needing no help, truly delicious! Enjoyed the different dishes and desserts we tried.

There weren't many people dining in on a Friday lunch so a group of us took the round tables in the middle. I tried their pho, fried egg rolls, hot and sour soup, and pork rolls. The menu had so many items from Chinese foods to the traditional pho soups. Service was super friendly and attentive. The pho was flavorful and the large portion had tons of noodles and meat. I was super stuffed by the end of the meal! The fried egg rolls with pork were good - fresh and crispy. The vegetarian fried egg rolls were also good! Couldn't tell there's no meat in there. The pork vegetable rolls (not fried) had excellent peanut sauce with the right balance of sweet and savory. We heard they are known for their hot and sour soup, I understand why. It has tons of protein and ingredients making it very tasty. Prices were solid given the amount of foods and authentic quality you're getting. I highly recommend this spot!

I wanted to take them to other Chinese places that aren't the typical well known places (Kum Koon, Sun Fortune, etc), but are still solid. I settled for this place since my mom's friend recommended me this place when I moved here 3 years ago. While they have a lunch buffet here, I was here for dinner. They have combination plates for those unsure of what to pick, but we ordered off the individual listing menu. Their crab meat fish maw soup was a pretty good soup. Not on the take out menu as it's a dine in option only. Free range chicken was decent but lacked meat a bit. We also had a stir fry beef dish that was very good, and a stir fried three-kind seafood dish that was about what I expected. What they lack here are fish options, as all of them were deep fried and not of the fresh variety. Their dessert was a sago soup dish, which is one of my favourites. However theirs came out a bit lukewarm instead of hot. Contrary to most comments here, I found service to be quite good. It's certainly not the top tier of Chinese restaurants I'd say in Winnipeg, but the portions were big and there's excellent value to be had here.
