This place has me dreaming of coming back for more. Every bite was heaven. Such a simple menu with so many flavors. They made nice little ramen bowls for the kids. A day later we ended up at the location in the food court downtown and ate again. Same high quality. When I told them We ate at the restaurant the day before they asked what on the menu we had not tried yet and they gave us a complimentary dish to say we tried everything. Amazing! Easily my go to favourite restaurant in Winnipeg for a quick, easy, delicious meal!

Aroma has definitely came in my radar after their feature in Tourism Winnipeg. I was hyped for a HK style cafe-like restaurant that wasn't Sun Fortune, and I was interested by what was offered here. While they do have delivery app service, they also have an in-house delivery service, and I highly recommend that over using apps. Their staff is extremely friendly and you often get free perks as well, such as pop. You also get free delivery for any $15+ orders if you live nearby. My recent order was their chili oil wontons and their beef fried udon. Their wontons were really good, and this is speaking from someone who's not very spice tolerant. I also loved their beef fried udon, it felt very unique compared to other fried dishes I had. I imagine their fried rice dishes are just as delicious as they seem to be popular choices as well. However they're famous for their wontons, so at least go for that if you plan to order. Aroma loses a star due to their in-house delivery service traditionally taking longer than the ETA. From the two times I've ordered here, the ETA ended up an extra 30 minutes more, and they don't really have a tracking service aside from calling the restaurant. Therefore you should definitely order early if you want your food on time for lunch or dinner. Hopefully once COVID ends I can come here for dine in. 100% coming back. Food was really good especially for the price. I invited 7 people for my birthday and they were completely stuffed with their meals. All under $170! We even ordered appetizers, and let me tell you, that was the best decision ever. The CHILI OIL WONTONS WERE SO GOOD. They gave us drinks for free, and I appreciated it so much. The customer service was top tier. All of my friends gave me money to tip the servers. They were so easy to talk to which made the whole vibe of the restaurant so comforting. Great wontons and peppery fried chicken. Noodle bowls were huge. Not the cheapest, but you get good quality and the broth was fantastic. Tasty in-house chili oil, not too spicy. I'll be ordering again for sure. My only criticism was with the Beef Shank Udon bowl, there wasn't much beef, maybe only 5 or 6 thin slices. Lots of noodle tho. We ordered the pork wontons and the spring rolls and they were unbelievably delicious. I have never such awsome wontons . The pick up time was delayed due to internet issues and they were so polite,gave me a can of pop for having to wait longer than normal. Very gracious ,polite and efficient staff. Will definitely order again and try some other menu offerings. read more

I love Aroma Bistro's Red Chili Oil Wontons! It's very delicious and will make you want more after every bite, especially if you pair it with white rice. :) The noodle dishes are cooked perfectly as well. I'd also recommend the Aroma Chicken Rice. I highly recommend this place if you like spicy food. read more
