There are great dresses for summer time and amazing cashmere year round. I recently got a cute dress for a wedding and received so many compliments on it. I always go there for baby shower and children's gifts, too. It's a perfect place to pick up a gift for a friend, of any age. When I returned it I was shocked that I could not recover the considerable money I spent. The second clerk pointed out the return policy on the receipt I had received AFTER the transaction was completed A few days before. It was very dishonest to not have openly and clearly disclosed this policy when I asked before purchasing it. I truly feel ripped off.

We went to the United in Westerly for an Improv show. Oooph... I was freezing we all know the effect of a nice summer evening & then you hit the A/C. Hence, I had 2-3 minutes to find a "sweater" before the show started. I ran out of the theatre & into one of the ONLY shops open; Christinas on the corner. IMO, I somewhat rudely ran into the store & said I need something reasonably affordable to keep me warm at the show. The woman who waited on me (I now, know as Kim) dropped everything she was doing, as I was running around like a loon; & I finally found a "short" zip up jacket myself for $79.00 & thought, "this will do". BUT, Kim came around the corner & said WAIT, come here & try this on; Kim put me in a beautiful long crocheted white LONG "duster" for $69. WOW in front of the mirror, along with my already white dress I looked like a Princess rather than a "tennis player" LOL With that service I assume she was the owner, but no, my husband & I visited again on 7/14/23 and AGAIN 1 of the only shops open in Westerly @ 8pm on a beautiful summer FRIDAY evening they were OPEN, even though tons of people were "window shopping" elsewhere, Christinas had a fair share of at least 8 woman in their shop "buying". My husband and I came in the store today because he needed a new pair of boots. The lady there…read moreseemed nice at first, until we started getting sizes for the boots. She sized him and it clearly said 10, but for some reason she kept pushing him to get a size 12! Saying "your toes pass 10.5". He tried them on and sure enough there were HUGE. When we asked to get sizes down, she had an attitude and said we don't want small sizes in boots, but she wasn't understanding that the size she even recommended were HUGE. Ive worked in a shoe store so I understand that all shoes/boots feel different, but if we are saying g it's too big there's no need to fight us on it. She was slamming the boots he tried on into the boxes to be put back. She then goes back where we can clearly hear her talking to her co worker about us saying we want a smaller size. She mentioned they don't fix it if the stitching comes off due to him picking a smaller size. She also stated that boots don't "break in" like what??? That's exactly what LEATHER boots do. My husband is very nice so he's not going to be rude, but after her attitude and condescending comments I had enough. Btw I worked for a shoes company for a long time,and customer service. This was a horrendous experience.

They come in a variety of characters, with so much fine detail. These are a true piece of art. The inside is filled with jewelry. The left side of the store has more finer pieces, while the right is more focused on fashion jewelry and statement pieces. They also have some beautiful handcrafted ornaments of sailboats. I have previously purchased one of these as a souvenir gift for a friend. While this store has many beautiful items, there is a good amount of items that are a bit outdated. My favorite are the unique wine holders and the sailboat ornaments.
