The bun was toasted on the inside (win!), the 'dog' was nice (and kinda crispy on the outside), though I could have done with a bit more bacon. It was actually one of the better hot dogs I've tried! The menu board was full of what you would expect - yiros, hot chips and the like. But there were also a few baguettes (the yiros baguette is strange, but somehow tempting ...) as well as the hotdogs. More intriguing though is the coffee machine which greets the customer as soon as they walk in - I also spied a few sweet treats (a lemon curt tart, I kid you not!!), so I will definitely be coming in here in the next week to test out the coffee. I guess you can't always judge a place by the name and the decor ;)

They'll give you everything you want, including a steak sandwich (this favourite was initially left missing from the new menu and has since been repositioned on the culinary options) but with automation that the place now seems to have I can no longer speak favourably like I once could have. Shame for those who missed out when it was Charcoal Chicken but for those new to the area give it a try and find out for yourself. It has chicken, chips, dogs and fish. You won't find all the salads they once had but your potato salads, bean salads and curried rice salads do still remain, though they just don't seem to have the old taste.

The chips themself were fantastic and we loved the fact they had a selection of chilli sauces too! To the burger.... it was OK. Certainly not bad at all but just lacked a little bit of flavor for us, it was very fresh and pretty good value but just needed a bit more punch to the taste. The atmosphere was clean and the layout was really cute with wooden boxes filled with cacti and industrial lighting in the venue. It has beautiful big windows opening out onto Jetty Rd so you can feel like part of the nightlife without getting abused by any of it. Overall if you need a quick fix meal that is reasonably priced, very fresh and reasonably healthy, this is a great option on Jetty Rd.

What I do like about Noodle Box is that it has a lot of seating options. You can sit outside on the footpath watching the passing parade or out the back in a quaint, quiet little courtyard. The day we went along we were served by a lovely young girl who couldn't do enough for us so either the ownership has changed hands or they at least hire good staff. The only reason I don't give this more stars is because of my previous really bad experience.
