I like the taste of Mediterranean as it has a typical flavor and texture. The only nitpick is that the food is not as good as other Mediterranean restaurants but it does taste like it has some good flavor. I did order a shawarma sandwich but got the platter instead. Servers were attentive and friendly, and even the chefs were working around the clock to making the food for other customers! Also, ambience was pretty nice and it made the experience at Al Ammar a lot more pleasant. Overall, I think the restaurant is not bad but nicely centrally located between Detroit and Port Huron. Check it out for yourself!

We wish they had an impossible burger as on Thursdays they have burger night, but I do not prefer black bean vegetarian burgers. We are vegetarian and always looking for food options in the area.
