Strawberry pancakes

One of my favorite breakfast spot to come to when I am in the woodland park area of Colorado. This is a very friendly environment, staff is incredible and the food is very good and reasonably priced! Parking is limited as the town has grown around this establishment but worth finding a spot.

Crepe, Chicken Fried Steak Lunch

Good food, gets busy mornings especially Sundays. The crepe was like a rolled pancake with strawberries, the potatoes were good and the steamed green beans were amazing. Nice atmosphere when you walk in, waitresses are friendly and provide good service, there are funny signs on the walls to keep you entertained while you wait for your table.

Good service and good food. Despite being crazy busy, the table service is terrific. It's old-school diner quality service at its best. The food is middle-of-the-road quality. They specialize in breakfast, but they also have a decent lunch menu. I had the country version of a French dip. I ordered a roast beef sandwich, with swiss cheese served on a bun, with brown gravy to dip it in. It's fine, but nothing to write home about. The ambiance is whimsical bear themed, and it works. The restaurant is crazy busy and it can get very cramped in their tiny waiting area. Parking can be a.... wait for it...a bear. If you expect a wait before heading to the restaurant, it'll perhaps not dampen your experience when you have to wait a while. Overall, it's worth visiting.

Great food in an inviting friendly space decorated with lots of bears! Our server was very patient with my three year old grandson.

Hashbrowns & Sausage Gravy

Very good food, slower service. My review of a breakfast joint starts with the coffee - very good coffee here. I had the cranberry nut French toast - great flavor with crispy edges on the toast. Dear husband had the Cindy Lou - he loved it and cleaned his plate. Service was a little slow for a Thursday morning, but nothing crazy. Prices are very reasonable.

Cindy lou breakfast meal and pancakes

Such amazing food! I had the Cindy Lou breakfast plate which was phenomenal, it has eggs hashbrowns, ham , topped with sausage gravy. We also got an egg , cheese , sausage omelette which was delicious as well. The pancakes are delicious and definitely worth getting. The service was very nice. They have a sign saying that they are understaff and wait times might be long but honestly we didn't have any issue. It's a great breakfast place with a nice atmosphere. I would go back if I am in that area again.

This is a solid local breakfast place. I had the Cindy Lou and it was tasty. With breakfast dishes that have gravy, it makes them or breaks them, and I was good with their version. Trish was our server, and not only was her picture on the wall next to our table, but she was energetic and extremely efficient. She has been there 27 years, and I hope you have the good luck of her serving you. Bears line the walls, and even better that we saw a local bear the day before. If staying in town, we were happy with our choice to check them out.

Service was excellent. Food was terrible. My hamburger was a dry and hard. Fries were frozen and not cooked well.

In addition to its aesthetics, the texture and subtle sweetness of these buns were perfect. We stopped by on the way to Breckenridge and even after snow the next day, we still came down instead of taking I70 east bound just to have another box of these amazing buns. My husband got mad at me first time for me that I " accidentally"ate the 3/4 of each bun from our first box at Breck haha. I love the triple berry and pistachio. Cafe Leo won my heart with great hospitality of staffs but it has awaken my sweet tooth for the right reason. Will be back there soon as well as my friends and families after hearing some praises from me. Thank you for your existence!

I ordered a vegan BLT without bacon and she ordered a Colorado sandwich with sliced 7 grain bread instead of a Bagel and a Matcha Tea. The food and tea were tasty. After we returned home, I took another look at the receipt. Hidden charges were. Very apparent. This needs to be posted on the menu as well to inform customers! For example, Colorado sandwich with 7 Grain Bread. Additional $1.60! Vegan BLT with Cheddar Cheese no Bacon Add $.60! Matcha Tea with Oat Milk $1.15 plus adding Lite Ice $.30! I truly would like to be informed of these "hidden charges" before I order. This was a grand total of $3.65! Check out the $2.96 in local fees and taxes, too! Plus, I gave a tip! ouch! I'm not sure we will return, but hope others will learn from our mistake! Thank you for sharing! Three Stars for food out of five and Service needs to be improved!

We mainly just carved burgers and beers after a long day of hiking. The mushroom Swiss burger was out of this world. So simple and so juicy. Ambiance was great as well, nice music but not too loud where you can converse comfortably. Had the burger juice dripping down my hands but could not stop to wipe. It's not fancy but what you would expect after a long day outdoors. Fries were good. Kids didn't care for the chicken tenders as much. The batting was too thick. Will return next time I'm in the area!

I don't believe the chicken tenders were really tenders but were cut strips of breasts. They were long but sliced too thinly and fried too hard. They were tough and unseasoned. The fries were truly tasteless. Our waitress encouraged everyone to upgrade their side to something else (for an upcharge of course). I guess she knows they are that bad. She didn't refill waters. Others seemed to enjoy their burgers OK. Not sure they thought they were worth $20 though. It was a cold, sunny day and the front door was wide open. Then when the grill guy would go outside to grill he'd leave that door open. We all had to put on our coats. I was hoping this would be a place to stop with my husband sometime but I think we'll skip it. They also don't think military wives haven't served their country enough for a discount without their husbands being along with them. :(
