A nice market located in Westmont. There is a great selection of items. The owner Julia is very nice and accommodating and will show you some of the foods. Got some tea a bento box and some frozen beef dumplings which were excellent. They also have dumpling cooking classes it looks like. Was feeling slightly coming on a cold and the Ban Lan Gen tea was a great pick me up. I felt amazing afterwards. It's works well. I'm hooked. The bento box had fried chicken and an assortment of delicious sides. The chicken was tender and delicious.

This is a classic example of "don't judge a book by it's cover." The outside may look a little run down but wow they seriously have great stuff in here, it's worth taking a look! My friends and I ate at the restaurant next door and decided to walk off the food by taking a look in Hunan market. We weren't expecting to buy much but we came out with some goodies. Inside is very clean and well organized. This is a Taiwanese market so they have some of your typical asian groceries, but also some fancier items such as imported Taiwanese instant noodles, handmade frozen dumplings, siu mai, boba, thinly sliced meat for hot pot, and much more. A tray of siu mai was $20, they looked like nice portions too. There was also XLB soup dumplings, bbq baos and more. You can also buy a larger quantity for $45 I believe, and it's a biiiig bag so that would last you a while lol. If you've been to Katy's Dumpings right next door to this market, some of the items look exactly the same!!! Although there was only one person working, it was great customer service. The lady showed us everrrrything in the store and recommended many things, maybe a tiny bit too much haha but she was extremely helpful. My friend got these delicious sesame mochi in the frozen section to the left of the cash register, it was a gem so take your time looking around. I will be back to try the frozen dumplings!

I find Coway water purifier which has No 1 market share in Korea in Hunan Market!

I find they are selling Coway water purifier which has No1 market share in Korea in Hunan Market! The owner explained Coway purifiers utilize reverse osmosis filter technology in a multi-filter process that gets rid of harmful microorganisms in tap water. Finally I bought one set of water purifier and air purifier. The service of Coway is very recommended.Coway purifier rental programs come with FREE delivery, installation, and water filter maintenance for your water dispenser purifiers. The experience is great! I enjoy the hot water and cold water from the CHP6330L water purifier!

I hanged out Hunan Market. Surprise found they have Korean air purifier in the store. The air is very fresh for the allergy customer.and I found the Mung Bean Pastry with Yolk Cake- traditional Taiwan snack. It is very delicious. The clerk is very warm heart. She introduced many popular Taiwan snacks to me. Glad to have chance to know such great store!

Pack of 50 dumplings!

Walked into this store to check out their selection. Wasn't planning on purchasing anything but the lady at the counter convinced me to try their homemade dumplings. They are absolutely delicious. My husband and I used to purchase homemade dumplings out in CA when we lived there. The flavor and freshness is definitely the same. Would highly recommend!

Pork belly

If you are looking for the best handmade dumplings, soup dumplings, baos, pot stickers, Sui Mei they have all kinds of different selections. And their dumplings are by far the most authentic in the Chicagoland area. Both the skin and the fillings are amazing. Go check it out

We ordered butter chicken and paneer tikka masala with naan bread and that experience did not go well. Butter chicken had no butter flavor and was cooked in some strange looking light yellow sauce with a very bold coconut flavor. It was not even close the butter chicken sauce. Chicken was not marinated and it almost felt I was eating boiled chicken in some creamy sauce. Paneer tikka masala has the exact same negative feel to it. Paneer was hard and was cooked in the exact same sauce like butter chicken and tasted horrible. (Take a look at the pictures I posted). I kind of felt sick eating their food. Finally their naan bread was not fresh. Naan bread was the kind you can buy frozen from the store and microwave them. Triangle shaped naan bread cut in to half. Overall I will not recommend them. You will pay the same price as good India restaurants and the food here taste outright horrible.

Indian food is so much more! Kerala cuisine, from the south eastern coast of India, is tropical cuisine with Portuguese and Arab influence, due to historic ties. Lots of coconut, fish, beef and pork. That's correct! 90% of Indians in India eat meat and a significant portion of them eat beef and pork. Go to Curry Leaves on a Saturday around lunch time and pick up freshly made, piping hot, authentic Kerala cuisine. Say hello to Rashmi and ask for her help in picking the right food for you to try. You won't be disappointed!

They have fresh produce as well as a meat shop and a decent selection of Middle Eastern and Asian groceries. They hade a good selection of the Turkish delights that looked fresh and home made, We got a whole bunch of different flavors and they were all very good. The customer service could have been better. The lady behind the counter didn't seem too happy to see us but maybe she was just having a bad day. Overall, we got what we wanted and it tasted good. Kiddos were happy so, we were happy.

They also have a large variety of products in cans, jars, and packages - olives, nuts, grains, spices, stuffed grape leaves, etc. But my favorite is the excellent selection of flatbreads. This time I got a two-pack of huge (about 18 inches by 12 inches) poofy ones called taboons - $5 for the two of them and each weighed about a pound. They're very good plain, with olive oil and maybe a bit of flaky sea salt and/or rosemary, with butter, or in sandwiches and pizzas. The listed ingredients are flour, water, milk, sugar, salt, and yeast - no junk and they taste neither sweet nor salty. Plus, if you've not been here, it will be a fun place to explore.
