Delicious Food, so Fairly Priced. Always enjoy eating here. We have been coming here for years, and pretty much have run the whole menu. We have some favorites, but all entrees have been good, with generous portions. read more

This was $20, price was fair, fried rice doesn't rly have flavor kinda just tastes like broccoli, and the chicken wings are too salty. read more

I've been coming to this stop for years! My mom would come in all the time when she was pregnant, never failing to serve with the most friendly and respect attitudes but also amazing food with tasteful flavors! The place might look a little run down but it gives to the ambiance of a local hole in the wall restaurant. The menu has a wide selection of foods also giving the option to alter some plates with no msg, cornstarch, etc for a more healthy option. I recommend the hot and sour soup and general chow some of my favorites! Go give this place some love! I also would like to point out that most of the reviews are negative however i would not let these wrong options interfere with your own option as many people are unaware what flavor beyond salt and pepper really are. read more

First let me say, the service and staff are top notch! Always friendly and very helpful! The food on the other hand is a bit greasy for our liking. From the rice to the egg rolls...everything is greasy and heavy. The crab rangoons were soaked with oil and almost inedible. Portions are sizable the prices are affordable. I'm hoping they can improve the taste of their menu items and not cook everything in so much oil. I'd love to see more fresh and light items on the menu! read more

Service is definitely first class. I had a hard time fining this place because the sign was destroyed by the tornado. Food was decent but they don't have a lunch combination. Which means you have to pay 1.35 for and egg roll that not even hand made. The reviews do it justice. read more

Hunan Chinese Restaurant - General chicken - Chinese Near Me - Rogers, Arkansas

Service was great with a wide menu. Food was ok for Chinese food in NWA. It did not taste bad, but didn't have much flavor. Sauce was heavy, on the lo mein and sweet and sour chicken. read more

Honestly, Hunan has been such a heartwarming experience for me every time I have gotten a bite to eat there. Incredibly nice service. Have never gotten an order wrong. Vintage vibe. Quiet/peaceful place to eat. Cheap price for quality food. Best wonton soup I've ever tasted. Best Chinese food I've ever had! I definitely recommend this local Chinese restaurant to anyone looking for a calming place to sit down and have a great time! Will more than definitely come back to Hunan for some awesome Chinese food and outstanding service. read more

Service was awesome. Food was pretty good. Plus sizable portion's. Definitely back on my go to list. I have not been here in 3 years. Used to be Mom and Dad's favorite read more

We ordered the generals chicken, orange chicken, 2 egg rolls, & the hot & sour soup. Literally everything was terrible. The brown rice was the shinning star. The soup was really foul. The egg rolls tasted like the had been cooked in really old grease. The orange chicken was bland at best but tasted off. The generals chicken was just strange. Very disappointing across the board. read more

I ordered shrimp fried rice with only onion .. the rice tasted scorched... the chicken wings were horrible .. I won't ever come here again ! When trying new food places I always get what's safe as far as ease of cooking so they can't mess it up .... the chicken and the shrimp fried rice was horrible... don't recommend this place at all read more

AS you will see in the picture the amount of food you get is well worth the small price. It cost you more to go through BK across the street than to eat here. The owner is great and most likely will be the one to take your order or bring you the food to your table. Its always hot and fresh. We used to eat here back when i came home on leave from military with my late father, he loved it and until yesterday had not eaten here in quite a while. While we had dinner at the location and today I went through drive thru and took away, it was even more delicious and very fast. This entre with tax was 9.62, Chicken with snow peas and watercrest and got it on the spicy side. Can have it non spicy or very spicy. Yummy. read more

Hunan Chinese Restaurant - a takeout box of food - Chinese Near Me - Rogers, Arkansas

Possibly the worst quality food I've ever had. The tofu was massive chunks. The chicken was also huge. Like 3 bites per piece. The meat was a weird, slimy texture and the breading was soggy from the super liquidy sauce that the boxes were completely full of. The generals sauce was flavorless, minus a strange tanginess. Rangoons were filled with pasty dull and dry filling. Didn't see any crab. And they didn't come with any sauce. I'm really mainly only leaving this to remind myself not to go back to this place. read more

Just not good especially for the prices they charge, I wouldn't go back unless they a got a new cook that actually cared to make their food taste good read more

Always amazing and kind service. Delicious and hefty servings. Welcoming and warm dining experience.

Old school food. Old school vibe. Great Springfield Cashew chicken and wonton soup, super nice staff. Will definitely be back. Support this local business! read more

Omg the food was so bad and disgusting it was nutthing like the one in Fayetteville .the general chicken was the most nasty I have have in nwa and the rice was so nasty I couldn't eat it . read more

This is an absolute waste of your money and time. Both entrees we got were sitting in a watery substance that did not in any way resemble a Chinese sauce that you're used to (think of that dark brown thick sauce with beef/broccoli, etc). On top of that, there was absolutely no flavor. The beef in both entrees was inedible. The first piece was chewed more than 75 times, and no progress was made at breaking it down. Those 75 bites weren't even enjoyable because it tastes like beef adjacent rubber. I wish it let me give zero stars. I threw the to-go box away with only a few bites eaten. read more

Inedible. Sweet & sour chicken was old and tough. My friend's lunch was swimming in juice that over ran the plate every time she took a forkful. Just not good. read more

2 stars because the food was Hot. That's about it. There was so much oil, that I drained it onto another dish. I could have gone somewhere else for the price. The Lo Main noodles had zero flavor. Could not eat a quarter of the meal. I don't recommend unless you're starving and Anything will suffice. read more

Been going to this place over 30 years I don't know if they've changed hands but it sure is nasty now the food is over cooked there's no flavor smaller portions and higher prices the inside of this place is nasty also it needs to have some paint and serious cleaning done your shoes stick to the floor when you walk in if that gives you any indication, sad used to be a super good place read more

I always try to review little hole in the wall spots like this one to try to help others decide to eat here or not. I've been in the Rogers area for 3 years but tried this place for the first time today. I give it three stars because the chicken is dry, and for a chicken dish had trouble finding chicken in a sea of bamboo shoots and green peppers. I ordered the egg drop soup in case I didn't like the dish, and I'm glad that I did. The Togo box was completely covered with oil at the bottom and, again, the dish hardly had any chicken in it, and was lacking flavor. I would only recommend this place if you're completely wasted and you need something to soak up the alcohol. Service was quick- I waited In the drive through line less than ten minutes. I will stick to PF Chang and Ramen Nara for my Chinese though. read more

What a great value. Its not that the food is special, but its always solid and good portions. The service is quick and take-out is easy. Been going here for years and recommend it to anyone who like great take-out. Dining in house is fine, again, nothing special, but its good food usually not crowded with plenty of parking. When you want that inexpensive delicious Asian meal in Rogers, this is the best! read more

The egg rolls and egg drop soup was fantastic, I'll get back to that in a minute. Both entree's were like a taco bell burrito, layerd, no incorporating of any ingredients. Rice in a plate, topped with chicken nuggets, some brown sauce, a sprinkle of onion and garlic powder, the topped with cashews n green onions. If I wanted a layerd meal, I could have chosen McDonald's. Which leads me to believe, the soups AND egg rolls are frozen and thawed. The only experience I enjoyed was frozen. If you enjoy mediocre egg rolls, and thawed frozen soup. I'll never go back read more

For me I tend to go with a couple rules. I'm usually hesitant about unclaimed Yelp businesses because it shows me the owner doesn't necessarily care about what the diners think. Second I tend to avoid 3 star eateries because if most of the reviews lean negative, not a s good sign. Today I violated those two with Hunan Chinese and I highly regret it. Ordered a veggie delight with garlic sauce and the smell coming from the dish should have immediately told me to run but I thought maybe it's a new sauce or a new style of cooking so I told myself give it a try. This is probably hands down the worst Chinese food I've ever had in my life. I will not try these again. read more

Been going to Hunan over 16 yrs This is the first time food was over cooked and cold when the new waitress brought it to the table. For she was busy sitting down talking to a customer. i took the lo mein noodles back asked to put the sauce on it cause it was dry and said sauce is on it that's why it is brown. Really all she needed to do is give us some fresh noodles. To top that off she took the plate from our table did not ask if finished with it we were still tying to eat. asked for money back on them was told did not touch for 15 min so she took them. You should always ask if finished before grabbing stuff off table. Called owner and he believed the girl side. She needed to cover her butt i would of thought the owner would of realized that we are the paying customers and no when we get bad service and bad food. But no he would rather lose customers then to make it right. Think twice before you go there for if you get bad service and bad food the owner will not make it right read more

My kids really like their fried rice and fried noodle, which are fabulous and include lots of ingredients of vegetables besides meats. Is your kid a broccoli fans? Try their broccoli shrimp or broccoli chicken...the sauce taste great too! Ooh..don't forget to try their Crab Rangoon, some kind of crab and cheese wontons; they are good deep-fried dumpling appetizers besides traditional egg rolls! read more

Bought a simple side of noodles and a side of plain fried rice. Rice was under "fried" half steamed white and the rest soaked soy goo. The noodles sadly gummed together same glued together and oddly flavored gummy mess. I used to love this place kinda makes me sad. read more

This place doesn't deserve such a low rating. It's a solid fast Chinese America restaurant. Sometimes I just need some good cheap Chinese food and this place does the trick. read more

Terrible! Stopped by as there were a lot of cars parked and in drive thru. Egg foo young tasted chemically. I dont like dark sauce but that was okay. Chicken ontop not cooked in omelet and brown colored instant rice. The eggroll was cold inside and the dumplings were like those from sames club, overcooked and luke warm. The wonton soup was okay but too much cabbage and ham...irish wonton soup? The people working there were super nice! Wish this was better!!! Please get a new cook and keep the cleaning supplies far from the food. New recipes and fresh made is best. read more

I'm kind of sad that people hate this place so much, I mean, It's authentic food! It's what you would expect at an asian ran chinese restaurant! The food is very good too. Me and my sister love going there and having a picnic. This place has got to be the best yet! read more

If I could I would give 0 stars I got egg rolls, beef and broccoli, and sweet and sour chicken. The pineapple chucks were fermented, the beef and broccoli sauce tasted like gravy and smelled terrible like , the chicken was over cooked, and so were the egg rolls. I feel sick. Never again! So gross! read more

This is my second attempt at liking this place. I thought perhaps I just was not in the mood for chinese food that day. First dish was Sechuan Beef; ok but beef was too chewy and grizzled. Today was Orange Beef. Same results on the beef. Fried rice is steamed rice colored. Potstickers are steamed too long and browned on one side. I'm tapping out here. read more

Huge portions, 2 people can share a to go box for $6! Plus it has a drive through. I get take out at least once a week! The sweet and sour chicken and seaseme chicken is my favorite. The chicken fried rice is really good too. The orange chicken is pretty good, I get that every once in a while. If you like Chinese food, you'll love hunan! read more

This was a complete waste of money and gross. I ordered general chicken and crab wontons. The chicken was tough and unflavorful, came in a sauce that reminded me of chicken soup. The rice was hard and dry, and the crab wontons were unflavorful. Definitely do not recommend to anyone. read more

Got Sesame Chicken and Shrimp lo mein to go, Lo mein noodles looked like spagetti pasta and shrimp looked boiled. Sesame chicken lasted and looked like orange chicken and had no sesame seeds anywhere. Was a take out order, otherwise would have asked for money back. Will give another opportunity because I believe in supporting small local businesses, but they need to try harder. read more

Absolutely terrible. All I wanted was a run-of-the-mill, strip mall chinese place. This is not that place. I ordered several dishes to sample what they had and hated everything. Even the chicken fried rice (I've never had a chicken fried rice that I couldn't eat) was inedible. It tasted like they put pumpkin or some other squash in it. I've been eating chinese food all my life from all types of Chinese restraunts (the nicest, most expensive to the cheapest, inside a mall chinese place) and this was by far the worst. Not even close. The egg rolls were fine but slightly burnt. Won't ever be going back. read more

I have been eating here since 1995. They have some items that are great and some are not very good. The Cho Cho, Sweet and Sour chicken, Orange chicken/beef, egg rolls, Szechuan beef, Lo Mein and Sesame chicken are all good. read more

The orange chicken did not look like the picture. It looked like domed fried the chicken and poured the sauce on there. The chicken is not fried all the way. My husband got Mongolian beef with 5 pieces of steak. The food had no favor. The orange chicken and Mongolian beef was suppose to come with fried rice and it came with rice sautéed with soy sauce NOT FRIED RICE! Fried rice has pees, carrots, eggs and spouts. I was so disappointed. The pot stickers was nasty. The egg roll had no taste. And the texture is not what I'm use to. read more
