I've been waxed by many different people, in several different countries, and Alicia is one of the best. She is friendly and professional. If you are looking for attentive, quality service from the biggest sweetheart, go with Alicia!…read more The suite is a little difficult to find (come in through the front of the building, not the back) and it's set up small and cosy. Because Alicia runs independently you don't have the full scale benefits of a large spa & salon but what you do get is a comfortable, casual but professional, attentive experience with Alicia who makes you feel like you are one in a million. I purchased a full facial wax Groupon and the only appointment that worked for my schedule was the day before my wedding. I was terrified of getting skin ripped off, ending up with one brow shorter than the other or having a bad skin reaction like when I had gone to Ulta's Benefit Brow Bar for my last wax. Alicia took incredibly good care of me. She was thorough and sensitive so my skin was happy and hairless on my big day.

FINALLY I've found someone who knows what they're doing! 1) Call her and see what best fits with both of your schedules! She's very flexible with her schedule so it helps soooo much, especially someone like me who never has time to go into most businesses during their business hours 2) SHE HAS YEARS OF EXPERIENCE SO SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE'S DOING! I am probably every esthetician's worst nightmare: coarse hair and loose skin. It's hard for most estheticians to wax my hair. She knows skin, she knows hair, and more importantly SHE KNOWS WAX. Lots of hair getting ripped off in one go, rather than most people who don't have the same experience/knowledge and have to re-wax my hair OVER AND OVER. 3) she knows her products. Even though I didn't buy any of the ingrown hair stuff, she suggested a good brand for my condition. She wasn't pushy at all like other places that need to make profit. She just suggested it and told me to look into it if I was interested. 4) she offers more services! She honestly knows skin so well, I'm kinda tempted to try getting a facial done with her. Her skin is really smooth and just one look at my face and she had different recommendations for what would work best. 5) And most importantly: she's such a nice person and helps ease the pain of waxing. Nothing worse than getting your hair pulled out in complete silence or with someone who cant hold a conversation. We talked about everything and anything! I honestly would say her friendliness and her knowledge is what immediately motivated me to book another appointment for the future. This is perhaps the first time I was eager to see an esthetician again. Overall 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND!

She asked me to pay first, I told her that I would prefer to pay at the end so I can add the tip to my cc, she refused and told me I could charge the tip again at the end. Go and behold, they charge $2 to run the card, I wasn't happy about it, but i thought they better not charge me this stupid fee again at the end. Guess what they did and the big sister was very rude and had an attitude when I asked them to waive this fee, which could of been avoided had she listened to me. So no sense for customer service and no sense for business. Not sure how long this place will be around. Plus this place costs more than other places that offer the same type and quality service, I wanted to give them a try, now I have, too bad I won't be back to see Lisa again.

The products smelled great and the light blow dry at the end was good. I would recommend this place, but if your back doesn't like being flat on a hard surface, maybe do a shorter ritual than I chose. But then the leg and arm stretching was amazing, it felt like a Thai massage.
