I was raised on dark amber Greek honey but have come to appreciate Ontario wildflower honey for it's light and delicate taste. They carry a wonderful selection of spiced and/or fruit-inspired honeys. We bought some bee-inspired kitchenware. They carry 'honey sticks' too! Honey soaps, creams, body care as well as artisanal beeswax candles. I'm generally not into artisanal stuff but this place is a gem, on so many levels - including Alicia Keys songs going, in the store.

A lot of honey is adulterated, and it's not easy to tell. That's one of the reasons I was excited to buy some locally, from the source. The owner is really knowledgeable and has a great dog, which is bonus points in my book. Aside from the honey itself, the throat spray and the hand cream, are remarkably effective. The bee's wax hand cream is far superior to even the clinical stuff I usually pick up from Shopper's when my hands get dry in the winter. Worth the trip off the beaten path.
