I ordered a Reuben sandwich with pastrami and can definitively state that this is the best Reuben I have had in my 68 years on the planet! The pastrami was lean and juicy, just enough kraut and dressing PLUS the marbled rye bread wasn't greasy or soggy as some contenders for this title were in the past. The side order of homemade potato chips balanced things out nicely. I've gotta admit though, the iced tea almost stole the show. I am somewhat an iced tea addict and their combination of black teas and fresh mint just about blew my mind. I had four refills! My wife had their veggie quiche with chips and found it equally memorable. The price for lunch was about what I usually expect to pay for dinner but it was truly worth it. The pleasant surroundings complimented the food and the waitress for our table was an absolute delight despite my running her back and forth to fetch me more iced tea! You must stop here and experience it for yourself.

These sandwiches were like if I asked my little brother to make me one. It was ridiculous and way overpriced BLTA $18 two tiny pieces of avocado on the end. The only thing that was good and fresh was the bread everything else was basic nothing special. Also ordered the croissant, chicken salad sandwich. The croissant was good, but it was flat and looked like it was the end of the weeks bread. Again, $18 for the sandwich you would think that you would get a beautiful delicious croissant that was big and fresh but this looks like the size of a dinner roll and flatten down and they put grapes in their chicken salad which I am not a fan of. Absolutely nothing special about the sandwiches, way overpriced you would be better off going to Subway and that's pretty bad. The only good thing is the bread was good and the atmosphere is nice that's it otherwise you're paying $40 for two sandwiches with a slice of old orange buried way under a large pile of old stale chips not even good chips I mean come on so unfortunetly not coming back here and I am a local. Too bad so bad! No locals discount.

We stayed in the Kokopelli, as a guest of a friend, and boy we we lucky. It is the nicest, I think of all the rooms and it is at least 400$ plus per night, depending on when you go. The Kokopelli has a nice little sitting room along with the bedroom and includes a flat panel TV, a two-person Jacuzzi, which is just amazing and with separate shower. There is no closet so you are left with a European style clothes rack, which is just fine, unless you are staying more than a week. The balcony is the length of the entire room. There is beautiful Mexican furniture, tin mirrors, and pottery in the sitting room and in the bedroom. Out favorite spot was the balcony. The Penrose has American food. The two breakfasts we had were well presented and delicious, slightly unusual gourmet type fare. One of the mornings we had an early tour booked and left before breakfast was served. The village of Oak Creek (just a few miles south of Sedona) was the perfect place to stay. It is beautiful, peaceful and a perfect way for us to end our 10 road trip. As everyone has said, the views, the food, the accommodations and the hospitality were terrific. I've included a few of my many photos!! Thank you Sheila for everything. FYI, Sedona has become very commercialized, hectic and crowded but certainly worth visiting. But, if you want a more zen-like experience, I strongly recommend staying at Canyon Villa B&B.

We had a fantastic stay here and we would definitely come back again. Hospitality The best thing about our stay is the staff. They are so welcoming, especially Sharon. Every morning she greeted us by name, which made us feel so welcome. The employee serving during breakfast the whole weekend was also super sweet too. I wish I had gotten her name. The entire staff engaged with you and chatted with you. I even felt sad saying goodbye to them when we checked out. A major highlight for me was our arrival. Our flight was delayed and I let them know that we would be checking in after hours. When we arrived, there were clear instructions laid out and in our room was water and a late night snack (a mini charcuterie board!). No hotel would ever do that for you. After a long day of traveling that thoughtful gesture already set a positive tone for the weekend. Accommodations/Amenities First, you must stay here because the view at Canyon Villa is breathtaking. I can't describe how beautiful the view is. You have to see for yourself. In preparation of our trip to Sedona, I looked online at pictures of our room (Claret Cup) and the pictures sell the room short. The pictures make the room look small, but in actuality, our room was quite big, spacious, and cozy. My husband and I had all of our stuff laid out, our hiking backpacks, suitcases, and we still had so much room to move around. There is also a mini fridge in the room. I also loved our huge patio that led us to the pool and how we had a magnificent view of Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte. The room was also very clean. The room amenities like the towels and robes felt luxurious and plush. When you stay here you feel like you're at home. Perhaps it's the way the property is designed. There's a library with a couch and chairs, a living room, a dining room, kitchen and pool. Might I mention that the kitchen has a Keurig machine with an assortment of teas and coffee 24 hrs. There's also a mini fridge stocked with sparking water and a variety of soda. Finally, for those with a sweet tooth like me, they have an evening treat every night! During our stay we had chocolate chip cookies, lemon cookies, and snickerdoodles. There's nothing more comforting than coming home after a long day of hiking or going around town and just helping yourself to a treat and warm beverage to wind down. There is also a microwave and dishes for you to use if you decide to stay in for the night and just get take out. You can sit in the dining room and enjoy your meal. Breakfast is included and it's a full breakfast menu with a different pastry every morning! I am still thinking about the lemon muffin they served on our first morning there. So good!! You can order your breakfast and take it back to your room or you can sit in the dining room with full service. They also provide free appetizers in the afternoon. Definitely take advantage of the pool and lounge chairs if you decide to take a break from hiking. Pool towels are provided in your room. They have everything to make your stay and trip to Sedona the best. For example, they have umbrellas and walking sticks by the door if you need them. They also even have a shoe brush cleaner by the door to clean off your shoes! Every detail is taken care of to make sure your stay is as comfortable as it can be. The only downside was that our room came with a Jacuzzi tub and the Jacuzzi did not work. Parking is also very limited. But those are minor compared to the amazing stay we had. Around the area: Canyon Villa is located in Oak Creek Village, which is about 15-20 min away from Uptown Sedona. There are many affordable restaurants in the area that are walking distance from Canyon Villa and if you're a coffee fanatic like me, there's a great coffee spot just a 10 min walk/2 min drive away. Pago's Italian is also bomb! You are also just a mile away from Bell Rock and Courthouse butte and a 5-minute drive to Chapel of the Holy Cross. Overall, I would definitely recommend you book your stay at Canyon Villa on your next Sedona getaway. They will not disappoint!

We booked a one night stay, just as quick overnight out of town (we live in Phoenix). We came up to hike and then headed to check in. When we arrived, we thought the property was charming. It had a nice relaxed vibe about it. It was also close though to restaurants, bars, shopping, and gyms to just walk to. When we checked in, the front desk woman Katherine said she had been up to our room a little while before we had arrived and it was "pretty warm", so she told us she turned the air on and it should be cooling down soon. Even though Sedona was having a heat wave, it wasn't that hot from what were used to in the valley. We went up to our room and "pretty warm" was an understatement; it was downright toasty! We closed all our curtains and blinds to help the room cool faster (even though it negated the "room with mountain views" selling point), but nothing was happening. After about an hour, the temperature just kept combining up. We called the front desk and they said they would send someone over. The first person came and stared at the panel for a few minutes, then left and said he was looking for batteries. Ok. Then, a second guy came and dismantled the panel and left. The first guy came back and was like "what happened here?" And we told them someone else came and took it apart. Then he pulled the entire unit off the fall and left. This revolving door of maintenance workers took about an hour. We were thinking of just going home because staying in the overheated room was not at appealing. We could sleep in 86 at home for free. Katherine told us to come to the lobby to cool off for a it, offered us a free bottle of wine or champagne, but we don't really drink. We were really tired for hiking all afternoon, but we said we'd go to dinner and come back and hopefully have some sort of option. Finally after a few hours they told us the cooling unit was frozen over from being overworked and we'd need to change rooms (not upgrade; we weren't asking for that). We had asked before and there weren't additional rooms, but something opened up. We were happy to move. There was a credit Katherine said she was going to take care of and not only was it not refunded, we were double charged instead and despite multiple calls after our stay, the issue is not resolved 6 weeks later. Anyway, when we got to our new room, it was much cooler luckily. Our bed was actually very comfortable and we were finally able to relax after a long, hot, and frustrating day. In the morning, my husband went for a hike with the pass he was able to check out from the front desk. When he got back, we went down to breakfast together which was said to be a "really nice, made to order breakfast". Who wouldn't want that? Well, that is definitely not what we got. There was one man working and doing everything by himself for a dining room full of people. We could feel the hangry tension as soon as we walked in. There was no hot water or coffee, no do it yourself toast options, no takeaway items, or anything. I had to go back to my room to use the coffee machine, our mugs and get water. This guy was trying his hardest but we just kept wondering why he was doing it alone, or why he couldn't put the bread and toaster and muffins out for people to just grab while they waited for their breakfast tacos. He didn't have a ticket system either or queue; just write it on scrap of paper. Several people left but we waited it out. Our breakfast tacos and muffins arrived and we looked at each other like you do when you eat at a friend's house and don't want to be rude, but also don't want to eat what's in front of you either. We tried to eat what we could and then took our dishes back to our room, then walked to Bosa across the street. We saw the AC repair truck had arrived too. We really wanted to like our stay at Las Posadas, but maybe we just caught them on an off weekend‍.
