My hubby and I just got back from a "spontaneous" wknd trip to Sedona a couple of hours ago. And I couldn't wait to write about our three-night/four-day stay at the Apple Orchard Inn. With great confidence built from the reviews of yelpers and TripAdvisors, I made a reservation and got booked into the Mission Room. From the look of it on their web site, I felt disappointed that it was the only room left. But once we got to the tucked away haven, I decided the room size didn't matter as long as I was staying there. Hubby and I felt comfortable right away. Though it was our first visit there, the place had THAT familiar feeling to it. The kind of feeling you get when you walk into a good friend's home. Later, I grew to like the room. It fit us just fine. We loved the setting, the scenery, and the satisfaction of paying less for way more. Apple Orchard Inn is pretty much a quiet and eccentric place nestled a walking distance from fast paced tours and fast talking timeshare salesmen on 89A. We enjoyed fresh breakfast served by Marco every morning and Silvia made sure our room was ready to receive us in the afternoon from our day trips. We also devoured the homemade cookies left for us each day. We felt good about our time there. We plan to return soon and highly recommend this suitable B+B to those who seek to experience a home-away-from-home getaway.

It's crazy to me that there are bad reviews on this perfect little B&B. We stayed the weekend in the Sedona room and loved our experience here. Our room was spacious and clean with a private patio that allowed for some AMAZING stargazing once the sun set. The owners could not be sweeter, it's like staying with your grandparents. If you need something they have your back! The breakfast is fantastic (order the cowboy oatmeal if it's available) and eating outside on the patio overlooking the mountains is a picture perfect way to start the day. There's a large hot tub perfect for soaking your sore legs after hiking through the mountains. We even met a some other couples and had some beers with them. My only critique is that no one was here when we checked in so USE THE LAST 4 DIGITS of your phone number to unlock the front door then RING THE BELL or CALL the number on the wall and someone will check you in. Overall it's a perfect little place to stay the weekend in Sedona.

Gorgeous view from back patio...

A last minute detour for dinner in Sedona brought us to Apple Orchard Inn later that evening. Our host was wonderful and it was a slow evening so we were the only ones upstairs (4 rooms upstairs and there was a couple staying downstairs.) We brought the remaining wine from dinner and enjoyed it on our private patio. Breakfast was served between 8 and 9 and we enjoyed coffee, juice, fresh fruit and pancakes with ham. We didn't stay long, but it was reasonably price and located in a nice residential area but not far from downtown Sedona.

Cooling pool. Love it!

We had a blast here at the Apple Orchard Inn it was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast we stayed in the barnside room we loved it! Beds were comfortable the pillows were awesome and the facility it self was unbelievable they had a cooling pool, whitch was neat very cold but much needed after all the weather was nice and hot during the day. They also had a hot tub that we used quite alot. After our adventures on the cliff hanger hummer tour that was much needed lol. Jean was absolutely outsatnding made us feel at home like if we were at a family members house. The breakfast was super yummy and the coffee we are definitely come back here again thanks jean for everything your home is beautiful and the views are gorgeous we will see you next time! :)

From the…read morevery beginning, Michael and Rachel made everything feel effortless, thoughtful, and deeply personal. Their care and attention behind the scenes created a sense of calm and harmony that allowed us--and our guests--to truly be present and enjoy every moment. The setting itself is breathtaking. From peaceful mornings to evenings under the stars, every detail felt intentional: delicious breakfasts, impeccable service, and inviting spaces that made our friends and family feel instantly at home, no matter how far they traveled to be there. Even the unexpected little quirks along the way added laughter and personality to an already unforgettable stay. Exchanging vows among the trees, beside flowing water, and framed by Sedona's iconic red rocks was beyond special--it was sacred. We feel incredibly fortunate to have celebrated such a meaningful moment in such a beautiful place. Thank you, Michael, Rachel and staff for creating an environment filled with warmth, beauty, and heart. Sedona Views will always hold a very special place in our story.

I think this place is going to be way better than a lot of of the other resorts in the area. Currently, Sedona views bed-and-breakfast is still "under construction" making everything perfect for grand opening, but while we were there, it was still super awesome and serene. I hope it stays just a calm chill resort where people can stay in a beautiful room and enjoy the scenery. In my opinion, too many of these resorts have a bunch of extra "activities" and sometimes people just want to come and relax, I was super relaxed and can't wait to go back. . Thanks so much to all the staff!

It's just like having a house in the Red Rock mountains with a beautiful private patio situated off the bedroom/family room and kitchen. It has a beautiful fireplace positioned in front of the bed on the patio side. Wine glasses and drinking glasses available. There is a bread machine that the staff uses to come in the villa and made is bread in it every day. The smell when we came home from a hike or exploring Sedona was a slice of home with ready to eat bread. The bathroom was huge, rustic and elegant with an extra large Southwestern tiled shower. It had a sunken bathtub for two with a fireplace on one side to give it an even cozier romantic vibe. A large rustic wood closet that followed the rustic vibe of the whole villa was situated on one wall of the bathroom. The outside of the villas had a pool and hot tub for warmer months and a stocked refrigerator for water and sodas. Help yourself. The main building of the villas had a warm sitting area with a fireplace and Christmas tree for the holidays. The office for the villas was in the building as well Gourmet breakfast was served every morning in this building off a menu with choices that change everyday, included with price of the villa. Very quiet eating area like eating in someone's dining room. In fact everything was included in the price of the villa. The staff was like family. Isobel who coordinated our stay also set up our dinner reservations in advance as well as mapping out where to hike and places not to miss. She made this trip a huge success for us. The property is situated down the road from beautiful Thunder Mountain where we could literally walk to and hike. As we're cruising down the main street we passed The Inn Above Oak Creek and noticed they had a lit-up vacancy sign. We immediately went in and met with the inn keeper who offered to let us go see the room before we committed to booking. This is THE cutest little 13 room inn set right on Oak Creek. There is seating down by the creek, on the patio off the main room, and inside the main room itself that all have great views. Our room was very spacious with a 2-person sized bathtub and a fireplace! It had truly the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in away from home. My husband was obsessed and wanting to know how we could copy it to have at home. Both of the inn managers were so kind and took such good care of us. You could feel how much they care for the inn and value their guests. There's always coffee and water set out. They have homemade cookies in the afternoon and homemade muffins in the morning. They have a bookshelf with various options for reading and a large selection of movies. On the coffee table, they have binders full of recommendations for trails and exploring the area. It was such a cute and intimate place to stay. I'd recommend it to anyone traveling to Sedona and I'd love to stay here again! We truly couldn't have found a better place to stay for Valentine's Day. As you see in the pictures, the mattress did not fit in the bed frame and I thought that was a very tacky and unsafe. It was about a 6 inch gap all around and I was afraid that I would forget and step wrong and hurt myself. Also, the chair in the master bedroom Had a screw poking out that was uncomfortable so we did not use that chair. Lastly the only meat options on the breakfast menu was a chicken sausage, and it was very sweet like maple and I personally did not enjoy it. Now that I have told you my dislikes, here are my likes. The scenery was beautiful! We did the honeymoon suite and each door in it (the bathroom, bedroom, and living room each had a door that opened up to the patio/outside.) listening to the creek was nice! They have a gazebo as well and seating on the porch with blankets. They have a microwave and mini fridge and they provided grapes when we arrived. Day 2 they provided cute little chocolate mousse desserts. For a refresh/turndown, you text the concierge. The tub was big and deep definitely fit 2 people. It's my understanding that the honeymoon suit is the only one with the separate living room/bathroom/bedroom set up. I liked the space and separate rooms, which is why we picked this particular room (Also, just an FYI, looking at the pictures online, it looks like the furniture in the honeymoon suite is outdated/Victorian style compared to the other rooms that they have, but expected this going in because I looked at the photos ahead of time). I would consider coming back here, but for the price, the mattress needs to fit the bed frame

I ordered a Reuben sandwich with pastrami and can definitively state that this is the best Reuben I have had in my 68 years on the planet! The pastrami was lean and juicy, just enough kraut and dressing PLUS the marbled rye bread wasn't greasy or soggy as some contenders for this title were in the past. The side order of homemade potato chips balanced things out nicely. I've gotta admit though, the iced tea almost stole the show. I am somewhat an iced tea addict and their combination of black teas and fresh mint just about blew my mind. I had four refills! My wife had their veggie quiche with chips and found it equally memorable. The price for lunch was about what I usually expect to pay for dinner but it was truly worth it.
