    Auto Detail Service
    Mark S.

When you want a job done right, you call the professionals. If you're looking for high-quality auto detailing in the Santa Barbara area, call the professionals of Hugo's. Honest and reliable, at a reasonable price, these guys will make your car look as good as new. I like to keep my car looking impeccable and for the past two years, I have relied on this company to deliver highest-quality detail services and shine to my cars. Give them a call, you'll be impressed and so will anyone who sees your car.

7 years old and looks new again!

These guys are great. We've used them for a few years and we get our fleet and personal vehicles completely detailed at least a few times a year. Our cars literally look better than when we bought them new. They are also punctual and get the job done.

Hugo and his team did a great job on our 27 ft RV. It had tons sap on top and lots of bugs on the grill. They made it look brand new! They also did a full detail on our Jaguar. These lights were yellow and filled with oxidation! After Hugo and his guys did their magic, we can actually see the bulbs...haha! Can't wait to see how they shine at night. Thanks Hugo. Look forward to getting my truck detailed too!

    Jeep interior after detailing

There's no better detailer than Hugo's. They do a phenomenal job every time and take great care with your car. We just had them detail our Tesla and older Jeep the other day. The Tesla was absolutely filthy and in dire need of a cleaning/detail. They did a great job making both cars look like new. Particularly impressive for the 20+ year old Jeep! I only wish I'd taken before photos to fully capture the great work they did.

    Headlamps look great now!

Great wash, wax, and headlamp finish. Headlamps were foggy before and now look new. Excellent job and I highly recommend.

I've used Hugo's a few times, and they have exceeded my expectations each time. Most recently I had them do a 3 step polish & paint correction on a Mercedes Sprinter. Its a 10 year old van and it looked better than new by the time they finished. I would recommend Hugo's to anybody looking for high quality detailing for an affordable cost! I can not say enough how happy I am with the results!

Hugo and his team made my car look brand new after 3 years of beach, sand, 2 dogs, and 2 kids spilling food all over it.great!!

Maybe some of my readers will find that information useful. The gas is a ripoff, but you wouldn't stop here for gas anyway. The bathrooms are clean, which is probably why you stopped here, especially if you're like me and you didn't get enough sleep so you were downing caffeinated liquids like crazy all through your drive and your bladder isn't what it used to be. Did I mention they're clean? Yes, I did. There are two of them, and they're single-user, so you don't need to worry about waiting for the men's or women's room to free up while the other one sits idle. There's no code; there's no key attached to an oil-funnel. Nope, you have to tell the cashier all the way on the other end of the store that you need to use the bathroom, and he'll open it remotely. The snacks are a ripoff as well, but not as much of a ripoff as the gas. There's a huge selection of everything, so if you're going for a beach outing or park picnic, you can stock up on random stuff here, especially if you're bringing along one of those friends who can't picnic without her 100 Grand or specialty coffee drink or macadamia nuts. Return access to the freeway is also pretty simple, so this might be an ideal place for future planned bathroom stops now that Pea Soup Andersen's in Buellton has closed! (I'm so sad about that.)

For management:…read more Great coffee and location. However 5 mins ago I got a coffee and used 2 cups seemingly glued together, couldn't pull the two cups apart so just used 2 cups as one. Didn't have time today to sit there and wrestle them apart, tho I'm a 200 lb rock climber and it shouldn't have been so hard. At payment was TOLD "I charged you for two cups" by the woman working there. I assumed she meant for two cups (like a 75 cent surcharge for the extra cup) but realized she meant two cups of coffee after. Um. The wrongness of this should be evident, but here's a couple versions that would be less egregious: Even "I'll have to charge you for two cups of coffee if you don't separate the cups." Or better, don't charge a person for two cups of cofffee who got one cup of coffee. This is charging for an empty CUP something like 3000% of the cost of the cup for the cup, and that is extortionate, even if the scale is small. This is absolutely unacceptable policy, if it is policy, and needs to be addressed, whether it is or not. Great location though! Also, "I charged you for two cups" is inaccurate is misleading if you charged me for two coffees. That is the necessary language.

More like Risdon'ts…read more Summary: No accountability, no apology. Never again. Entire car searched - without permission - then being further disrespected by the owner yelling at you in the middle of the garage. Not sure what his deal is, but none of that was okay. I came here today for a routine oil change and tire rotation. When I called to schedule this two days ago, I gave the make and model of my vehicle since sometimes they need to order in a special filter or part. The owner assured me they had everything. I'm all for supporting local businesses, and while I've only gotten gas here for decades, my family has also brought in vehicles for oil changes and similar basic services. I told the owner I'd wait in the little table area they had out front and the key was in the car for them. Partway through, he came to get me to show me the wear on the front tires and suggested skipping the tire rotation and paying more to get new front tires. Sure, no problem, let's do it. Thank you. I went back to the waiting area. A while later, another guy came out to ask me if I knew where the lug nut key was so they could remove the tires. I asked if they'd checked in the back where the spare tire was. He said they had and couldn't find it. We walked over and I was immediately surprised to see that my tools and personal items from my car were out on the ground and they were putting them back in my car when we walked up. I looked in what were the logical spaces next to some car tool kits, but no luck. They told me they'd already checked everything, and when I looked up, I saw that someone was rifling through my glove box and then saw that my personal items were all moved around in the front, the doors, and center console areas of my car as well. They clearly took the liberty to look through ALL of my car, without thinking to take a few steps to where I was and updating me prior and asking if they could look since they didn't have the needed tool. I kept it cool and simply mentioned to the guy rifling through my glove box that I'd prefer he didn't do that. I then saw the imprint of a greasy hand on my front seat where someone had previously leaned to look through the now disheveled center console. Once it was clear that the needed part was not somewhere in a kit in the car, I asked the owner for a clean towel. I wanted to wipe the grease from my seat. He brought it over, I wiped the seat, then thanked him again as I handed it back. Clearly all of my personal items and space had been searched through and while I felt violated and that being asked permission would have been nice, I kept focused on trying to find a solution for this missing part. When it was clear the tires would not be removed since they didn't have the part, and the kit I had didn't have it, I thanked him again and asked him for the receipt. The oil change was $165 and some change. I kept calm at that price tag, thanked him one last time, then asked him where I was supposed to pay. At that point I shared, "I want to share some feedback so that you are aware - I would have preferred if you asked me first before going through my car." He immediately exploded in the middle of the garage, to the point that I gently raised my hands as a gesture of wanting to de-escalate. He blew right past that and said that he was watching the whole time and that they put everything back and that since my key was in the car, they could do whatever they needed as part of the service. I told him that I understood leaving the key, of course, so that they could move the car, but didn't understand that to give permission to go through all of my personal items and entire car. I attempted again to come back to my point that it would have been nice to have been asked - especially since I was right out front. He immediately snapped back, still yelling, saying that he wasn't going to "debate me" and that it was my responsibility to tell him upfront if I was going to be "sensitive." I was in disbelief. What was the disconnect? He continued to yell at me, blame me. It was clear the owner didn't give a shit. I told him that I was done and that this was extremely unfortunate and could have gone very differently. I didn't feel safe - forget feeling respected. Was I missing something? If I have a leaking sink and I let in a plumber to fix the sink, then come back to check and find that they've gone through all of my cabinets and drawers with greasy hands and looked through my entire apartment because they needed a part, would that be my fault for not having the part and for not saying at the start that I was "sensitive" to what I assumed was basic communication and decency? I couldn't wait to pay and be out of that incredibly disrespectful space. Again, this was incredibly unfortunate and could have gone very differently. As I got back in my car, I saw the fresh fruit I'd brought with the original intention to gift as an additional thank you. No accountability, no apology. Never again.

There's a vacuum in front for cars that are waiting in line, so I used it because all of the car wash spots were full while I waited so that I didn't waste any time. I left some space between me and the car in front of me so that he had space to wash his car. He finished at the same time that my vacuum finished, so I went to hang up the vacuum and pull through. Unfortunately, someone swooped in the narrow space between the wall and my car and took my spot while I was hanging up my vacuum. I decided to stand up for myself, and informed him that I had been waiting. He told me it was too bad and started washing his car.
