I've never had a better physician and give credit to my current state of healthiness to Dr. Chung and the good physicians at KIMA. Over the years I have watched this practice grown and grow. They are friendly, have a strong network of referrals and contemporary solutions for health. I do not find long waits most time and if I have an urgent need I have usually been able to get immediate care from a nurse practitioner. The location off of Grand Parkway gives you easy access to their lot and the modern building makes you feel more comfortable that you will be getting the latest in healthcare.

I have found my care at Macie Medical Group to be truly exceptional. Every time I visit the office…read moreor need to speak with the staff, the response is consistently faster than what I've experienced with other providers. On my first visit, Belinda greeted me with genuine warmth and professionalism. She walked me back to the treatment room, took my vitals, and took the time to listen -- really listen -- to my medical history, my reasons for seeking a new physician, and my goals for improving my health. She related to me as a whole person, not just a chart. Phenomenal care. My wait to meet Dr. Ani was short, and when she entered the room, her bright presence immediately put me at ease. She exudes compassionate concern in her bedside manner. Dr. Ani is patient, thorough, and considers all the information provided to her alongside current research and best practices. Over the past couple of months, I've had several appointments and have needed to reach out to the office for various reasons. Scheduling is quick -- appointments are set within weeks, not months. When I call, I reach a live person after just one automated prompt. If the office needs to return my call, the response comes within hours, not days. I was also pleasantly surprised by how quickly medical documentation was completed. I can honestly say I did not expect to need this level of medical support when I first sought out a primary care physician, but Macie Medical Group has more than risen to the occasion. They have exceeded every expectation.

I tried to reschedule my appointment with her last week after the automated system sent me a message that my current August appt with her was cancelled. When I called to re-schedule I was informed she was no longer with Village Medical. I asked where she had moved to and was given no info. I have sent messages in Patient Portal. No responses. Normally a letter or notification is sent out if a MD is leaving a Practice. I reached out to the Practice Manager and left 2 messages. No response. I spoke to someone in the Call Center today to ask what was going on that none of my messages were being returned. Come to find out the Call Center and Billing & Insurance Center is now located in Central America which is why everyone who answers the phone has a heavy foreign accent that is barely audible unless you are Hispanic. I think this is so unprofessional that there has been no communication to her long standing patients or all of her patients for that matter that she was leaving the practice and what my choices were for having a physician take over my records. It is terrible that Dr Edwards is gone, she was a great female Doctor and I will miss her terribly. I am so disgusted with how Village Medical has handled this that there is no reason for me to stay with them as a patient. Dr Edwards is gone so I will look elsewhere for a new MD. It is also ridiculous that when you call into the office all calls are being routed to a Call Center in Central America instead of someone local here in Houston, Tx taking my calls. To say I am appalled by all this is putting it lightly. Dr Edwards and her Nurse Heather were always so good to me and I felt well taken of by them. I'm unbelievably disappointed.... I started with Village Medical in 1998 and I'm now 69 years old. Changing PCP's will not be easy but Village Family Practice is not comparable to how it use to be. Such a shame....
