Over pricing. Quoting $1500 repair on a gear lock for a $200 used grand father clock.

The Scarecrow Factory

The Scarecrow Factory

Scarecrow Factory was a mainstay -- and beloved shop -- in Woodstown for years. Several months ago,…read morethey closed down to move and have now arrived on Pitman's main street. The shop's reemergence is still so fresh that the awning and signage haven't been placed just yet, but it's definitely worth a stop. Yes, they have lots of rustic, country home decor and gift items. That's their thing. There's a big fall-themed section with loads of stuffed pumpkins for display, among other autumn-related goods. But they also offer a cute jewelry, clothes, and consignment (all sales final) section. I couldn't resist purchasing a versatile clunky bracelet, and my mom treated herself to pre-birthday earrings and a bracelet that she tried on, loved, and forgot was on her arm until she walked up to the register! For the clothes, they're contemplating creating a dressing room area in a side corner. As of now, you can still try them on via their restroom in the back, which has a full-length mirror. I'm glad the Scarecrow Factory has resurfaced, and I'll certainly return in the future for gifts and reasonably priced jewelry. Best of luck in your new storefront!

Out of any candles I have ever bought from bath + body or yankee, this candle is the best BY FAR. This brand of candle has the cleanest + strongest scent ! I purchased honey soaked apples and by the next morning, I called and asked them to hold any more that they have. For $15, I will be coming back again and again. Not to mention, the woman that is always here (maybe the owner), is the BEST!

Norman’s Hallmark Shop - Store front

Norman’s Hallmark Shop

Can't believe I haven't reviewed this specific store yet. This Norman's Hallmark is huge. The…read moreladies here are very pleasant and helpful. If asked, they will gladly lead you to the section containing the cards/products you need. I have been going to Hallmark (everywhere I have lived) for many years because it's the only place where I can find specific cards for any occasion. I am a card person and I have almost always found a card for any occasion for people in my life. For example, my mom found a sweet card that said "Happy 1st birthday to my grandson". I have found cards for "my niece and her family", "my brother and his fiancée", "special wishes for a happy birthday and a merry Christmas" (for a relative born during the holidays), "nephew's 1st Valentine's Day", "baby's 1st Christmas", etc. There are a ton of options for rare occasions (baby dedications/baptisms/christenings, relocation, retirement, etc.); celebrating special moments (engagements, adoptions, weddings, baby showers, new home); recognizing and/or celebrating people with a unique role in your life (babysitter, dog walker/sitter, your doctor,) etc. There are entire sections dedicated to: "just because" cards; "someone special"; or "a special friend" (with a variety of messages about your love for them, or that you're thinking of them, or you miss them, or about them being dear to you despite being far away); birthday cards for specific ages (not limited to milestones); funny cards for kids and adults; cards from "all of us"; get well soon cards; sorry for your loss cards, support when grieving the loss of a pet; etc. During any (and I mean, any) holiday, they feature a special selection - right now they've got St. Patrick's Day, Valentine's Day, Philadelphia Eagles win memorabilia, etc They also carry keepsakes, trinkets, plush toys, blankets, some clothing, bags, and a large selection of gifts for special occasions (graduation...) and specific people in your life (mom/dad/daughter/son/spouse/partner...) I know there are some cards available at general stores, grocery stores, and the dollar store. But when you are a card person like me, and you want to convey a specific message to someone you care about, nothing beats the Hallmark store. Plus they have that pretty gold crown to seal your card with. PS. I know their cards can be pricey. So you should know that Hallmark will regularly email you coupons if you sign up for free on their website, app or at a Hallmark store. You can pull up the coupons on your phone at the checkout counter.

I bought a tree on 23rd of September 2024 from Bloomers 344 Hurffville - Cross Keys Rd, Sewell, NJ…read more08080. It was weak when purchased but I was assured it would be fine in the spring. I followed their comprehensive instructions for their warranty. The tree died and today I returned it. First they started with their policy is for sale items not being under warranty. It is very clearly under warranty with the warranty printed on the back of the receipt. Then I mentioned if they sell a tree it should be viable and well or else they shouldn't sell it. They agreed. They would not replace it with the same since I purchased on sale. They then they had a perennial 50% off on their front sign, but they were unable to honor it. A perennial is a plant that lives for at least two years and regrows each spring, offering a low-maintenance, long-term addition to gardens, landscapes, and agriculture. These plants, which include flowers, vegetables, trees, shrubs, and grasses, provide lasting beauty and structure to a garden, as their deep root systems also offer environmental benefits like soil retention and nutrient reach. The man and woman working their called the owner, and he apparently yelled at them according to what they said. In order to get a replacement it would cost me about $230 additional to replace the tree purchased last year. All I would like was a tree that is healthy and will live more than a few months. I received a refund for $79.97 in store credit, but asked for a credit by payment method because I won't be their customer anymore because they have made it clear they have no interest in healthy plants or satisfied customers.
