Like the huge amount of reviews on Trustpilot and Google - avoid at all costs. We waited to leave this review for balance, to remove emotion and weigh up any pros - but, will be reporting to trading standards. No item received, no information given unless constantly chased, the same excuses used with other reviewers over many months, no communication after requesting a refund and a newborn without a central item ordered months before is appalling. If we had noticed Huggle received approximately 30-50% of their reviews as 1 star over many months on Google, Trust Pilot and other review sites, we would have avoided them as this showed it was not short-term and despite the same repeated excuses on reviews the issues have not rectified. I have never left a 1-star review on any site previously but can't see how it can be more. We ordered a large essential item for our new arrival months ago. As soon as we ordered, we received a generalised document that it was delayed due to covid in the workplace (website still said 1-week delivery). We were sceptical of their excuse due to the many online negative reviews for this over many months. Over the months, this shifted from covid within the workplace, to the order is damaged once delivered (so it wasn't in stock like they said?), to being sent again on a specific date, to further delays each time it was supposed to arrive, then silence after requesting a refund. The initial communication was positive; however, this rapidly disappeared into chasing over time and went on to zero response after requesting a refund. This was a huge stress to first-time parents, who were still working, decorating parts of the house and purchasing important items for a newborn. Ordered product 13th August 5-7 days delivery. No where on there site does it say delivery timescales affected as they are moving stores. Chased delivery to be told this, asked to be escalated to a manager (Christos) who is apparently the only manager (no one above him...) He advised that it would be shipped out direct from suppliers 27th August and would be with me early WC 29th August. No order revived, no response from Christos... called useless support (sorry customer support) to be advised that it hadn't even been shipped?!? No reason at all other than Christos had tried (must of forgot the communication part...) Left a review on their page to warn others, and within less than 2 mins it was removed and i was blocked and messaged to say they are sending a refund. AVOID AT ALL COSTS read more

If you've got kids in London, as my French wife says, you spend most of your time in John Lewis. Let's face it, they have good stock, the staff are well trained, and you can even take back an opened bottle of baby food and get a replacement. However, since this gem of a NW London shop / cafe / baby feeding station has opened, we've been spreading the love. Best things about the place: - there's a great range of essential baby / toddler equipment, toys, beds, prams, furniture. - they're incredibly patient, and have to be when you're trying to work out whether a maclaren or an uppababy is best for your little treasure. - customer service is top notch. - they run great classes, ie for expectant dads 'this is a baby' What's even more compelling is several times we've gone in their deliberately to 'buy local', and expecting / not minding to pay more, but come away really surprised that they have a sale on and beat most prices online! I wouldn't complacently expect a bargain all the time, but even if it's RRP I would really recommend all of North London mums (or nannies) spending more time, and money in here. Parking is a little bit of a pain, there's some pay and display near by. Free after 1.30pm on Saturday. If you're there for a couple of hours, let the little treasures also run around the Swiss Cottage Sports Centre 'water park'. As a final note, our last purchase was this week and we found a manufacturer's fault within a day. The shop replaced our item with no quibbles, and we remain happy, and loyal customers. read more

Had a great experience the times I have gone in to peruse the shop. I was really struggling with selecting a pram and Alicia was amazing with my husband and I, even throughout my absolute indecisiveness. She really took the time to show me all the options in the range I was looking in and I loved that they had weighted sacks to allow you to try on to see how the pram would move with a baby in it. She was also very patient in showing me the carriers I was interested in. As time passed, I still had pram anxiety (it's a huge purchase for us! the largest we have to make since arriving in the UK 2 years ago!) and went into John Lewis to look there, as I hadn't gone any other place besides Huggle. Well, the service was quite off. Only one person available for a weekday evening and lots of waiting customers. It felt a bit rushed and uncomfortable. Plus, they didn't have the pram in the color option I was interested in. So when it came time to order, we ordered the pram and color we wanted from Huggle, as they had it all. We opted to order online shortly ago because I'm starting to feel too tired to get out much, but delivery was free and we look forward to a swift receipt of the items! By the way, I was torn between a Bugaboo (either Bee or Cameleon) vs the Babyzen Yoyo. I opted for the Yoyo since it is just as sturdy as the others, the difference being that it is not as great outside of pavement/perhaps grass, but we are not outdoorsy folk and really appreciate its compactness for travel around London, folding in our tiny flat and for potential travel around Europe and when we see family back in the US. Plus, I was able to purchase it in the grey color pack that John Lewis did not have! We are quite excited and happy with our experience at Huggle! Thank you! read more

Their system always wrong on price and stock. They could tell you the stock has to pre order with the very end of the receipt with tiny wording at the bottom and said will post to you once its available without a definite date even the online website said it is in stock! However you have paid already! Please do make sure you check up with them if you order online, especially if you order from oversea which needs to encounter VAT refund. Sometimes, the system is not smart enough to deduct the tax for certain product. Also the promotion code cannot apply to your order if there is excluded item, end up you will need to have 2 separate order which your shipping cost will go up. However they will promise you to get you a refund but you will need to expect to wait for long time to get the shipping refund from the store which other shop do refund immediately as thats their system fault. Try not to order online if you need something urgent, usually taking ages to dispatch and simply the follow up could be delayed and delayed. They will not ask other customer service representative to follow up if they are on leave. Hence there is expecting to be delayed which make you feel nervous. May be I used to have much better experience which only take less than 1 week or some even dispatch within 2 days with other shops. if they have charged you more than it is supposed to be, your money will be on hold with them until they have dispatched your products! They definitely has surpassed service before you make the payment but not as speedy response as after. Which I hope they could improve their customer service and processing time in the future. Tucked away in Primrose Hill/Swiss Cottage is an oasis for parents-to-be and parents. I assumed that with an NW3 postcode everything would have an NW3 price tag to match. A friend recommended Huggle to me but I never intended on going as I had done the John Lewis nursery tour so what more did I need to do?! I was wrong and I am glad we decided to take the journey from Barnet to Huggle one Saturday afternoon! My points are as follows: 1. They had a much better range of buggies and car seats than John Lewis did and they had everything in stock in our colours so we had could take it away rather than having to take a day off work to wait for a John Lewis delivery van. Parking is free after 1.30pm on a Saturday and all day Sunday which is another bonus so you can really take your time perusing and then drive your items away with you. Which brings me to price. Their prices are the same as John Lewis however they do packages on buggies and car seat combos which actually makes them cheaper than John Lewis, or any of the other big stores. This is rare for an independent to be able to offer this and we were very impressed. 2. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful on all counts. The shop was never so busy that you would not have one staff member totally dedicated to you. That is what you need when buying items were safety is paramount and you need your questions answered. Also the staff were not pushy and actively encouraged us to go away and talk to other people about the options that they presented us with. That was exactly what we did and went back the next week and bought everything. 3. Where furniture is concerned they have something for the low to high price ranges. We were more middle of the range. However what impressed us were the alternative solutions they provided. Most places it is Moses basket or crib and then they have two options for changing mats and baths. Huggle offered so much more and where furniture was concerned Huggle had alternatives which are more suited to urban living and they also had options for those with larger spaces. Their solutions for our small abode were perfect for us and we have no doubt that it will all work out well. 4. They also have lots of fun accessories for decorating, storage, toys etc and so it definitely appeals to the parents that do not want their child to have the same mobile as every other kid and have something special!! We treated ourselves to a couple of these items too J 5. We definitely will be supporting this independent gem throughout our child's life and have recommended it to many other people. They also have an onsite café which is great for pregnant women. read more

We ordered a crib, a changing table, a mattress and a number of other items off huggle.co.uk. Issues started when I had to follow up by phone to get the order confirmation - why did it not automatically send to my email address? We then set a delivery date. I waited in all day, but unfortunately, their delivery partner did not even bother ringing my doorbell - instead, they got a random neighbour to sign for it and left it on the first floor (leaving a heavily pregnant lady to sort out someone to get it to her front door several flights of stairs up). Not only this, but after taking a full day off work to wait for the delivery, it arrived without the mattress. So we schedule a day for the mattress delivery - again, I wait all day, and call, and confirm by email - but end of day arrives with no mattress delivered, no apology, and no clarity on why huggle.co.uk treats its customers this way and seems to get away with it so far. read more

Avoid avoid avoid!!! Purchased a bugaboo chameleon in Jan 2016 for the birth of my daughter in March, and recently noticed it is rattling like a trolley, contacted Huggle and after a lot of emails was told by the manager Jason heller that I would be sent out replacement wheels, two weeks later I have been informed by him today that he isn't sending the wheels because I wrote a review about him his shop and the customer service, so despite my warranty because it has to go through this petty little man I have to go through trading standards and my credit card to get my issues resolved. Also after ringing bugaboo have been informed that Jason has told them he gave me a refund and I no longer own the pram, so my warranty doesn't exist, Unprofessional and no care what so ever. read more
