With great prints,…read moreattention to detail and practical features, ilovegorgeous' products are indeed gorgeous and very unique. I particularly like the mix of different fabrics for the little girls dresses, using flowery prints, with both ethnic patches (Indian fabrics it seems) and some plain details as well. I prefer to buy in the sale and buy for the current season or mid-season stuff (30 to 50% off). Great for gifts as well with very nice things for baby girls. Definitely more a store for little girls than little boys... They have a good web site with all the stock too and deliver all over Europe.

There's just a lot of fun lightheartedness to the individual pieces - many that simply pop with vibrant colour and playful design - lots of mix and match options that are no doubt meant to be kid-pleasing. The prices here also seem less than some of the other child-targeted shops in the area. If I were actually dressing kids on a regular basis (instead of just buying the occasional gift) this would definitely be my first stop for my would-be children when shopping in the Notting Hill district.

This beautiful boutique with its several floors feels like a mix of homely style with good quality, vintage detailing and a dash of quirkiness. All the products feel handpicked and handmade. Products range from children's wear to home pieces. Wooden floors, wooden hangars and wooden vintage furniture mixed with new collections all create a general look - as if from a different era. They also carry lots of labels - Sigerson Morrison "belle" shoes - which I am a big fan of and downstairs is the men's shop called "The Garbstore" with more designer lines. A total united vision - everything looks as if it should be there -and somehow relates - not easy with so many products but done in such a more-ish way

The interior is completely white, almost stark, but it's punctuated by the colourful clothes and other items - which creates a quaint feeling of cheerfulness - there is nothing pretentious-feeling about this place, there's something too-casual about it for that. Given its location on fashionable Ledbury Road, FARA have pulled out all the stops and made this a lovely shop to visit. The first time we visited I felt that we had finally found preloved kids' clothes heaven, and left with a few terrific things (it would have been much more if I had a daughter, seems that there is always a smaller range of boys clothes where ever you shop). The second time though there was less of what I was looking for, and also fewer really good toys (I was looking for wooden toys and puzzles) and more of the plastic and stuffed variety. As is with every charity shop though, the pickings always depend on what has been recently donated... definitely worth putting on rotation though if you have a child under the age of say, five, and especially if said child is a girl.
