I always want to carry everything home from Carry Me Home- one of the cutest kids stores in London…read more The shop stocks some great childrewear designers like Oh baby and Beauty and the Bib. If you don't have children but your friend has just had a baby then you HAVE to head to Carry Me Home for a cool present. The 'Been Inside For 9 Months' sleepsuits are so gorgeous that I am planning on buying one for a friend who is due any day now. The fruit shaped bibs make meal times a little less messier and are so stylish! If you cannot get to the West End store the owner also has a stall at Spitalfields market on a Sunday. The website is excellent but a little dangerous to my bank account because I always see something I want to get for my son or friends' babies! Carry Me Home will also personalise vests and bibs which make perfect presents. custom

Took me a few minutes to find (on the 2nd floor), but once there all was good…read more I'm not a baby clothes aficionado, but this store made my life easy. Their selection is really well procured: cute, unique and a thoughtful array that felt the opposite of generic. I wanted a unique gift that had some character and I felt like the store owner had a bunch of options that fit the bill. The owner (don't recall her name) was very helpful, not pushy, and pleasant. Also, I don't know what baby clothes are supposed to cost but I thought the prices were quite reasonable for the quality.

Like the huge amount of reviews on Trustpilot and Google - avoid at all costs…read more We waited to leave this review for balance, to remove emotion and weigh up any pros - but, will be reporting to trading standards. No item received, no information given unless constantly chased, the same excuses used with other reviewers over many months, no communication after requesting a refund and a newborn without a central item ordered months before is appalling. If we had noticed Huggle received approximately 30-50% of their reviews as 1 star over many months on Google, Trust Pilot and other review sites, we would have avoided them as this showed it was not short-term and despite the same repeated excuses on reviews the issues have not rectified. I have never left a 1-star review on any site previously but can't see how it can be more. We ordered a large essential item for our new arrival months ago. As soon as we ordered, we received a generalised document that it was delayed due to covid in the workplace (website still said 1-week delivery). We were sceptical of their excuse due to the many online negative reviews for this over many months. Over the months, this shifted from covid within the workplace, to the order is damaged once delivered (so it wasn't in stock like they said?), to being sent again on a specific date, to further delays each time it was supposed to arrive, then silence after requesting a refund. The initial communication was positive; however, this rapidly disappeared into chasing over time and went on to zero response after requesting a refund. This was a huge stress to first-time parents, who were still working, decorating parts of the house and purchasing important items for a newborn. The directors JASON HELLER and RACHEL TAMARA HELLER need to take serious action.

Ordered product 13th August 5-7 days delivery. No where on there site does it say delivery…read moretimescales affected as they are moving stores. Chased delivery to be told this, asked to be escalated to a manager (Christos) who is apparently the only manager (no one above him...) He advised that it would be shipped out direct from suppliers 27th August and would be with me early WC 29th August. No order revived, no response from Christos... called useless support (sorry customer support) to be advised that it hadn't even been shipped?!? No reason at all other than Christos had tried (must of forgot the communication part...) Left a review on their page to warn others, and within less than 2 mins it was removed and i was blocked and messaged to say they are sending a refund. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

It's not my normal territory, you know, Mothercare. Because I'm not a mother, and I don't really…read morecare, which generally absolves me from ever needing or feeling the urge to go into this shop. This all changed the other day, when my brother and his wife had their first child, a beautiful little girl called Peggy. I started to care. I understood what this care thing is about, and I became a mother. As I said it all changed. No wait... I just cared, I didn't become a mother. So anyway, now ticking one of the boxes, I entered Mothercare alongside my brother, to buy a Moses basket and some other baby related items? I always assumed (not that admittedly I thought about it much) that Mothercare was just a big impersonal superstore, much like a massive Sports shop, where essentially you would be left to your own devices, and things would be scattered around everywhere just waiting for the recession to seal the last nail in it's coffin. But actually it was not. Inside, it was surprisingly tidy and well kept, and the store assistants were empathetic and friendly to new, anxious mothers and fathers, as well as enthusiastic and helpful. As well as baby clothes, Mothercare is a prime place to get all your practical motherly/fatherly hardware, such as prams (which are on display like cars in a showroom), mobiles, cots, and nursing bras. I wouldnt recommend this shop as a cool place to hang out (obviously), but I would to mothers and fathers who want a serious shop for their little ones, and a friendly face to help them do it.

This Mothercare is situated in the lower level of Churchill square, near ELC and a discount toy…read morestore. It always seems very jam packed with stock to me. Good displays of highchairs, pushchairs and cots etc so you can have a good look see before buying. Products also sold are toddler's clothes, shoes, toys and a small selection of books. This shop also provides a very valuable free service of a changing and feeding room at the back of store, free to use with running water, nappy disposal and discreet area to breast feed. There was until recently an Olan Mills photo studio in this store which closed in December 2008 due to financial difficulties.
