I have been a nurse for 45 years,and I am deeplyj aware of the standards required for patient dignity and respect. Unfortunately, my experience at Delta Optometry completely failed to meet those basic standards. Upon arrival, the receptionist was incredibly rude. She insisted that I had not provided my insurance information, despite the fact that all of my credentials were fully presented and recorded during my previous visit. She then stated that I was required to have my physical Medicare card with me today. At no point prior to this visit was I ever informed that I could not proceed without the physical card in hand. A polite medical assistant placed me in an exam room, explained the upcoming procedure for the doctor, and began my pre-exam. However, midway through the testing, she stopped, went to the front desk, and returned to inform me that I could not complete the second half of the exam without the physical Medicare card. I was absolutely stunned. To halt a medical exam right in the middle of a procedure over an administrative issue--one that should have been resolved before I was ever brought back--is entirely unacceptable. The medical assistant herself was visibly embarrassed by the situation. In my 45 years in healthcare, I have never experienced or witnessed a patient being treated this way in any medical facility. Your current front office policy and the manner in which it was enforced are extremely unprofessional, disruptive to patient care, and disrespectful. Patient dignity should be of the utmost importance, but I left your office with neither. Due to this experience, I will not be returning, nor can I recommend Delta Optometry to others. Alejandra really took the time to listen to what I was looking for in terms of style, fit, and comfort. She picked out several different frames for me to try, and I ended up choosing a pair of Versace glasses. I really liked them because they were different from anything I had owned before, and I thought they looked really cool. Alejandra agreed that they were the best choice for me. I also wanted a new pair of sunglasses, and she gave me the same level of attention. She picked out several options based on what I was looking for, and I ended up choosing a pair of polarized Ray Ban sunglasses. What I really appreciated was that Alejandra never rushed me. She was patient, friendly, and genuinely wanted to make sure I was happy with my choices. When I returned on June 6, 2026, to pick up my glasses and sunglasses, Alejandra provided the same great customer service. She made sure both pairs fit properly and that everything was just right before I left. She also made sure I had all the necessary cleaning kits and everything I needed to take care of my new glasses. I have been a patient of Dr. Linder since I moved to Antioch in 2016, and in all these years I have…read morenever had a single bad experience. She has seen me through every stage and change in my vision and every eye issue I've had along the way. When I first started seeing her, I was nearsighted. Over time I also became farsighted and eventually needed bifocals, and she managed that whole transition with care and attention. Later, I developed a detached vitreous, and she guided me through that with calm, thorough care and reassurance. I also have idiopathic intracranial hypertension (increased intracranial pressure), which means that sometimes I need to be seen urgently. Every single time that has happened, she has made time for me. That alone says a lot about the kind of doctor she is. Her office itself is great -- it's always very clean and well kept, there is plenty of parking, and the staff is consistently friendly, helpful, and professional. You never feel stressed walking in there, and you never feel like you're just another number. I'm a nursing instructor, and at a recent visit, I told Dr. Linder that I was feeling intimidated about teaching the anatomy of the eye because, honestly, it's a complex topic if you're not in that specialty. Without hesitation, she offered to meet with me, look over my PowerPoint, and help me fact-check it. What really amazed me is that she did this on her own time, on one of her days off, and with incredible patience. She would make an excellent teacher. The way she explains things and the analogies she uses make complicated concepts actually make sense. I walked away from that meeting not only feeling more confident about my lecture, but genuinely more interested in the eye itself, which is not something I ever thought I'd say. As a nurse, I pay attention to certain things in healthcare providers. Dr. Linder clearly loves her specialty and isn't just going through the motions or counting down to retirement. She's fully present and engaged in her work. She takes the time to explain what's going on, discuss prevention, and make sure you understand what's happening with your own body. She also genuinely cares about her patients as people, not just diagnoses. She's also very down to earth. She's not stiff or overly "buttoned up." She's easy to talk to, warm, and approachable, and she makes it easy to ask questions without feeling rushed or dismissed. I can honestly say Dr. Linder is the kind of physician you hope to find and keep for life. I'm incredibly grateful for her care and truly blown away by her dedication to both her patients and her field. I recommend her without hesitation.

Ever since my old optometrist retired I was in the hunt for a new optometrist. Booking the appointment was easy but far out in a way which is understandable. Me being a new patient and all takes time to have a time slot for the type of appointment. I was greeted right away and given paperwork to fill out and gave the receptionist my insurance card and ID. I was called right after and was taken to the back for pre-testing. This office is cool because yea it was a lil old school technology but pretty cool equipment to take measurements of your eyesight. Right after I was seen by the doctor who was really nice and helpful with any questions I might have. I was able to pick out my new glasses and picked up my new glasses with a month (my prescription is high so it takes longer to make). I definitely think I found my permanent optometrist!

I was her last patient on a Friday after 6:00 and she stayed until she was able to refer me and called the retina specialist that night herself . My eyesight is now better thanks to her.
