With no spare glasses in tow and not enough time to get a new pair shipped in, I would have to walk around with ridiculously lopsided frames. Robert examined my glasses and miraculously found an old pair of the same frame (this is a somewhat rare, German frame) in the back of the shop and took that temple and attached it to my glasses. He saved my sight and my trip. His quick thinking, resourcefulness, and customer service were just remarkable. This shop has "big city" style in terms of its frame selection but small town kindness and care. It is truly one of a kind. I can't wait to return to shop for new frames, and I hope Robert will be available to guide me through the excellent and wide selection of styles.

If I wasn't there for a specific concern, than why would I be seeing a specialist? Of course I'm going to have at least one question about all of the scary things he was barking out at me. Additionally, his office staff is by far the WORST I have ever dealt with! The office seems to be filled with nothing but a group of sour-faced women who are rude and feel entitled to talk to you like you are dirt under their feet. Not to mention they hang up on you! Additionally, my eyes were dilated in a closet, the kind with the sliding doors right in the middle of the hallway. How private/comfortable is that?! Overall, Dr. Ullman's office is by far the worst doctor's office I have ever been to and I would not recommend it to anyone. First issue was last year, the…read morestaff, who seemingly care less, told me it would cost 300+ to get glasses repaired, did it myself for 25 repair kit This year, they called saying my prescription was good to December and would I like to just buy new pair instead of exam. Told the person on other end after I called my wife to discuss the insurance side of this and was on my way in any case. I arrived five, yes 5 minutes late and the person behind the counter said no exam for me! I explained I would wait for the people in front of me no problem. She would not budge on this!! Left this pathetic branch and will go to another branch. At least she could have called a higher up but the lack of customer service was her goal
