This station is the next to last station on this side of town if you are headed toward the TN line. It isn't the largest or most modern of gas stations, but it's our preference over many of the others. I feel a sense of safety here that I don't get from the other stations. It stems from the fact that the man running this one carries a gun on his person. It is visible at a glance and I feel, that alone, should deter most ne'er do wells and instill a sense of fear in anyone with thoughts of doing harm or damage to the business or any of its patrons.

The burger is fresh, never frozen, and was quite tasty, although the home fries were undercooked. But I did not mind, because the waitress was literally the most friendly I had experienced in awhile. There is a full menu, a hot food and soup/salad buffet, and plenty of home cooked pies for dessert. I grabbed a piece of pecan to go. In between Jackson and Memphis on I-40, this is a fun place to stop to grab a bite. She said "I've called once I'll call again" it took three calls to get someone in there and the employee walked by me and said " ugh I guess I'll get to that woman's bathroom" having no idea I requested the service. However, I think that it's unnecessary to have the music blasting even at 4am, especially right by the showers to a point where I can hear it while I'm showering.
