I have been cashed out by the mother aswell, she's a beautiful woman who loves her career and has been very patient with the construction of their new storefront that was build from the ground up. This place is now an apartment building with a liquor store as it's bottom layer. This couple still owns the building and they work very hard with their older son who has always been really friendly. I pray this store is showered in success. I came to this store the most before I got sober. From working out of a moveable crate box to being apart of this new and amazing apartment complex. and I'm so happy to say I won't be back

It was very busy and there was a line behind me. John the owner was working.. I asked for 3 $10 scratch tickets (specifically the crossword tickets)... I had recently went to the ATM to get cash out to purchase tickets.. I put 3 $10 bills on the counter and took tickets and put in my purse and left.. It was busy and I was in a rush to get to a Xmas party.. On Christmas Eve when I was putting my children's stockings together I noticed he had given me 3 $5 tickets.... I called and spoke with John on Monday 12/26 explained to him what had happened and that his draw had to be off.. Also I'm 100% sure he has cameras.. He basically said to me his draw wasn't off and that I'm a local so he'll split the loss with me and give me a $5 & $2 tickets... I don't believe a word he said.. I don't care about $15 loss (sorry now $8 according to John)... It the fact I feel scammed and don't want anyone else to be scammed... It also felt to me that this hasn't been the 1st time he's done this to people.. If anything I've learned my lesson... When buying tickets as a gift still check the tickets and don't be so trusting.

Even though it was busy with families stopping in, kids riding up on bikes, and people grabbing items on their way to work, everything ran smoothly and felt welcoming.
