I'm sick and don't look my best, but that shouldn't be a reason to be treated differently for your skin color or race. I think this is incredibly unpleasant for anybody having to tolerate bad attitude from people working at your doctor's office.. you want to feel better coming to the doctor, not worse. I'm usually pleasant with the service provided here but today it's out of control. If you're thinking about coming here for your PCP please think twice about it or ask for some meds to help you handle this.

Today I received 2 messages with a threatening tone demanding she know who I am. If this contact and context of her messages doesn't solidify my earlier review boy! In the 30 plus years I've been a patient I HAVE NEVER MADE A COMPLAINT. This lady is a ticking time bomb. Why does she insist on knowing who I am and then tells me not to hide!? This individual has access to my medical records and is demanding to know who I am! I hope Martinsville and Atlantic healthcare review her behavior and determine she is clearly not fit to deal with public! It's funny how she says she's been there five years and all the complaints reference this place going downhill about five years ago! Every review reads the same we used to love Martinsville family practice, and the staff but now they are extremely rude and unprofessional, really sad! I just text one bad Apple and now there's two!

The whole experience was so much better than I could ask for. From scheduling the surgery, dealing with all the pre-op work and my visits the office staff was so friendly and helpful. The surgery was a complete success and I can not be happier with the results. I highly recommend Dr A. to all my friends for any knee or shoulder issues.

Over $300! after countless phone calls and a nice patient relationship rep. they lowered it to $150, Still more then my free physical and a complete and total rip off as nothing extra was done. I feel very violated and cheated. none the less a few months later now I called them to see how much a tb test would cost for work, was first told it was $28 I said that is it? that includes them reading the test? they said oh no for that it would be an office visit also prices start at $146 plus the test. however to get this answer took mulitple phone calls between the office and billing and I am not sure how much it will be as the office said I would be billed for a nurses visit and not a dr visit however billing doesn't have that option and kept trying to call it a dr visit. Like I said everyone was nice however, I still feel so stressed and used from this place that I don't ever want to go back and I want everyone to know that you can't ask any questions in the physical or answer any questions in a physical because then they said they have the right to change it to an office visit and the dr doesn't have to tell you they are changing it That is also why they charged me for an office visit. They will trick you. They will ask you how are you feeling today any complaints? do NOT answer! it is a trick to charge you more money! which is just insane that you can't go to a dr and be honest with them and tell them how you feel. but regardless even if they do nothing extra for you, they can change the billing code.

Being as though it was my first time (and because I watched YouTube videos on the EMG procedure prior to going in) my nerves were getting the best of me but relief immediately set in once Dr Rosenberg explained the process. He even had courtesy enough to stop several times throughout the test just to ask if I was doing okay. I also like his sense of humor-- nice bedside manor and overall excellent patient experience! Don't fool yourself - this is a BUSINESS and they are in it for the money, same as any other. Sadly, the medical system in America is doing a poor job of helping individuals at the root of their problems, but in even trying to get an exemption for an out-of-network doctor this office was unwilling to do so without an in-person visit. Guess what - I'm WILLING to pay the extra $20 a visit to my out-of-network naturopathic doctor so I don't HAVE to come in for yet another fake diagnosis. I've learned how to take care of myself (and shame on you, reader, if you don't) and lowered my own blood pressure without meds, stopped eating like 'an American', and I MOVE instead of sitting on my butt all day...I suggest you do the same and stop relying on doctors who want your business - and only your business - not your good health.
