I really do not frequent Meyerland much so to see they not only had an HEB but a cliniic within the shopping area shows I'm a creature of habit and miss things like this being built. I really throught I knew where I was foing when I previewed the map before driving but a gps detour had me go through the med center and by the HEB I had never seen before, so I got mixed up quickly, but the clinic had been a snake, it would have bit me because its right off the corner of Beechnut and 610 Feeder. Parking was ample for a weekday morning but finding where to exactly go was not very helpful. As I entered in, no one was at the front desk. There were signs that the escalator waa broken and to use the elevator but where is that? I mean I was in a new place and I am directionally challenged yall- I needed a person to see and point me where I needed to go. Wasnt until I wandered around awhile and finally saw someone standing by the elevators that I noticed them. Once on floownd floor, I saw the place was packed and full-nothing the parking lot reflected. There was signage at the image department that said ro check in, but where??? I didn't want ro waste anymore time so I just asked someone sitting in that area about where to sign in. She politely pointed to around the corner. I thanked her and proceeded to sign in and verify my information. I had a form to complete before beeing seen so I rushed to complete it before bebeing called backeaI arrived a little before my time but was called back pretty quickly, which was great because I had to drive to another Kelsey Seybold location to complete part 2 of my examination. Once in tthe imaging room, I was greeted and directed every step of the way by the technician to get all the images they needed. In fact, I had to wait until the images were approved and that they didnt need any other views or positions before ai was released. Theyre very thorough and I appreciate that. What I don't appreciate is when medical practitioners get offended when you ask questions, or challenge theories when it comes to your own health. It is my body and my life, I think every patient should ask questions and challenge conventional theories. I have a thyroid issue. I am trying to find ways to heal it. I have been seeing Dr. Horsefield for maybe 5 years now, and have noticed passive aggressiveness before... but what I recently experienced is clearly unacceptable. I saw him for my regular annual appointment 3 months ago. My TSH levels were too high, so I got on some thyroid supplements and we retested about 6 weeks later. The results came in and the TSH levels were too low. I have since readjusted my medication and sent him an email politely asking if he could order the bloodwork to retest my levels so I can ensure i am now healthy and found the right balance. His response was callous. I have attached a photo with the passive aggressive response, where he makes it clear that he wont put the test in the system because he doesn't get paid for "answering emails, ordering tests, reviewing tests, communicating test results and maintenance of records" ..... REALLY? Aren't those tasks associated with being a doctor? I would be happy to pay him, for me it isn't about the money at all. In addition, clearly SOMEONE is getting paid when I order these lab tests because I'm charged thousands of dollars for them. All I need though is the bloodwork.... and he doesn't have availability for 2 months!?! I'm extremely disappointed that someone in the healthcare field is so much more concerned about their wallet than their patients health. Also if he wanted to charge me a processing fee that is fine, but his solution is clearly not in my best interest to wait 2 months and potentially do irreversible damage to my body.

I found Dr. Odetunde online and called for an appointment. The secretary wasn't the friendliest, but she was still definitely nice. To my surprise, Dr. Odetunde was available for basically any time slot I wanted. At first, this worried me a little bit. After all, shouldn't a good doctor have a lot of other patients to see? I chalked it up as luck and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. The office is located right off of 610, just west of the Bennigan's and Ford dealership (right around Fannin I think?), in one of those huge office buildings. I didn't wait long at all, and Dr. Odetunde ended up being one of the nicest doctors I've ever met. She immediately figured out my problem (spasms) and sent me off with a couple of prescriptions and an x-ray order. After this visit, I saw her again for some sleeping problems and some injuries I got in a car accident. She remembers her patients and is very knowledgeable. I recommend her to anyone :) Now that I'm living in Ft. Worth, I miss having her as my doctor, even though I only saw her for a couple of months!

She has ZERO bedside manner and I'm trying to figure out if she is even human. She barely speaks to you and seems to not care about your concerns and gives the impression as if you were bothering her. I'm not sure what type of test requires you to run your fingers across someone's face but please do something about those fingernails. She has a "nurse" who is rather curt and ill equip to interpret test results and provide a proper explanation. I saw this doctor once and it will NOT be a second time.

She does spend a lot of time facing the computer, but she is putting answers to the questions she's asking into the system. Their charts appear to be electronic. You receive a print out of everything discussed in your appointment at the very end, and if you download the "My Chart" app you can pull up the information as well or access their website to see it. I would recommend her to others.
