Terrible Customer Service at Lee's Lettering & Embroidery in La Puente…read more I had an extremely disappointing experience at Lee's Lettering & Embroidery on Hacienda Blvd in La Puente. I was purchasing a letterman jacket for my son for $690. When it came time to pay, the employee processed my card, and the machine showed the payment went through as credit. She then wanted to charge me an additional $15 because of how the transaction was processed. I explained that I wasn't going to pay an additional $15 for something I had no control over. Instead of taking responsibility and waiving the charge, she refunded the entire $690, which I now have to wait up to five business days to receive. I even offered to pay cash, but she told me she wasn't going to wait for me to get it and that I would have to call back on Friday. She also informed me that my son's jacket was no longer guaranteed to be ready by the date we had originally agreed upon. What really bothered me was her attitude throughout the entire situation. There was no effort to work with me or find a reasonable solution. I was willing to spend nearly $700 at this business, and instead of showing any appreciation or professionalism, she made us feel like we were the inconvenience. All of this happened because she refused to waive a $15 charge that resulted from how she processed the payment. She would rather lose a $690 sale than resolve a $15 issue. As a father, I wanted this to be a special experience for my son. Getting a letterman jacket is a big accomplishment, and instead of walking out excited about his jacket, we left frustrated and disappointed. Customer service goes a long way, especially when people are spending their hard-earned money. It's not even about the $15 anymore. It's about the principle, the attitude, and how customers are treated. I would not recommend Lee's Lettering & Embroidery based on how my son and I were treated.

I wanted to support and stay local and I pass this place on my way to work everyday. Sooo I had just bought a dozen hats to get our business name printed on them. I emailed few times back and forth... the guy I was talking to was clearly annoyed and said why don't you just measure the one you have.. I kept telling him that I don't have one printed I was just wearing the hat with no logo on it. He was irritated by simple resizing and didn't want to help me get the correct sizing for my order. I knew messaging could be difficult so to make this a smooth process I stopped by the next day and asked him if he could just print my logo on paper to see what the sizing would look like.. he was very annoyed and irritated with my request.. like if it isn't his job to make sure sizing comes out correct. Reluctantly he resizes my logo and prints it out on a piece of paper... only two different sizes their "standard" and 3.5" I had mentioned that I love silk screening and printing for some odd reason he took offense and angrily said " why don't you just do it then" and he was about to kick me out and I said no I just like doing it I don't want to go buy a press and do it myself. I just enjoy the process. I borrowed their scissors and tape and mocked up my OWN HATS hahaha (see pics) isn't this his business and part of the service to mock up the hats. A week later I get a email or a call saying my order was ready. I pull out the first hat and see that they pressed it with so much heat that it ruined and burned into the fabric. I thought for sure it was an honest mistake and the rest should be fine... NO EVERY SINGLE HAT WAS BURNED! This is such a wasteful thing to do.. I Wasted time money energy and resources. It's very sad to see that people handle their business this way. I would never recommend them to anyone... I feel He did this intentionally and why I don't know I was only trying to get my order made and got treated terribly.. also if they don't see anything wrong with this then that's the level of service you can expect from them.
