After looking into my…read morecomplaint, they told me that I was overcharged - that it should have been full price for the first drain and half-price for the others. They blamed it on the technician's cellphone app. I was refunded $765.50 that same day. Of course I don't know what the real story was - did they try to take advantage of me or was it an honest mistake? In any event, the work was done well and the charge was high, even taking the refund into account. If you're going to deal with them, I'd advise you comparison shop and be VERY clear what the charges are going to be before the work is done.

I called him to re-fix the leak, since I paid him $1200 to fix it. He said his truck was BROKEN. And on top of that mentioned he'll charge me extra to fix the leak he was originally supposed to have fixed. I went by the positive reviews, but I think most are fake. According to AI, fake positive reviews are rampant in the plumbing business. I also think he isn't licensed, or at least I couldn't find him in the database of NY state licensed plumbers. I'm kicking myself for being too trusting. I should've done more research. In any case, if you have to use this plumber, proceed with caution. May the force be with you!

At first, told me there would be no charge to evaluate the issue but my bill showed that they did. They tried to charge me $277 bucks for a fix that ended up not even fixing the issue. After some complaining, they removed the evaluation charge but $195 is still too much for not having fixed the issue. Months later, I had a plumbing issue with a bathroom faucet. Just needed to be replaced. I didn't realize I already used them once before. Life is hectic. I lost track. And I was regretting reaching out to them but decided to give them a chance. The universe intervened and said, "nah." They said they'd come around 4PM the same day. They never showed up. I reached out to them asking when they planned to arrive. No response. I took that as a sign to just decline the service altogether. They responded over a day later asking to reschedule. Nah. Never again.

He said Mr. Unclog hands down was the best in Westchester. A $40,000 estimate from Roto-Rooter became a simple root removal with Mr Unclog. He charged me less than Roto-Rooter charged just to LOOK at the problem without fixing it. Not to mention, Mr Unclog's team wore booties and left the basement as nice as before they came, while Roto-Rooter left droplets of pipe sludge all over the place. I'm recommending this guy to everybody I know. Better service, more professional, and reasonable price.

Bob and Mauro didn't disappoint! Let's dive in ... Communication (5/5): Other reviews speak to how quick Bob is to address emergencies - and while this wasn't an emergency by any stretch - when I first called Bob he answered right away. He was a very clear communicator in discussing scope, their capabilities, costs, and timing. Quality (5/5): Mauro was incredible on-site! He was courteous and a true professional. He took care of both slow draining sinks in a timely manner and even told me about a part under one of the sinks that could be troublesome down the road. He took care of the sewer scope with ease and was truly kind and welcoming when he had me watch his work examining the drains. Value (5/5): The initial quote from Bob and final bill were certainly reasonable and the work completed truly met/exceeded expectations! TL;DR: We found our new go-to local plumber and couldn't be happier! Bob and Mauro are true professionals and took care of the drain scoping and slow drains with ease.
