Awful experience on so many levels, and just very disappointing when you're sick and looking for…read morehelp. Honestly, if I need medical care urgently, I'd rather wait in an ER for a competent treatment than deal with this again. 1. They tried to turn me away 2 hours before closing saying they don't take walk ins. Their website and their automated call system say they take walk ins up to 15 mins before closing. Don't let them lie to you. They turned away multiple people while I was sitting in the waiting room, including someone asking for a Covid test. Just unconscionable. 2. They had my negative lab results for 4 days and didn't call me so I continued taking an antibiotic for no reason and having stomach side effects for no reason because of their negligence. 3. The dr repeatedly misstated my symptoms to me despite me continuing to correct him. 4. SO MANY 5 star reviews from people with only one review is such a red flag. Can't believe places get away with this nonsense.

And when a glitch occurred on their website preventing me from checking in, a woman at the front desk took my phone, started doing something that fixed the issue and handed me back my phone saying "See, that was easy" with a rude condescending tone. All this happened after I was sitting in the waiting room for a long time, thinking they were already helping me since I have already spoken with someone else. I then later found out she clocked out or something because she was gone. All this while my thumb is sliced open! Horrible quality of care that only cares more about paper work and billing than the patient. Rather go to an emergency room than here.

This saga has been going on for over a year. I went to AFC Yorktown for a strep test, I had been…read moreexposed and was having symptoms. Test was easy and quick enough. That was it medically. The main doctor asks what I do and finds out I work in a neighboring town. He then starts chatting up their new location and says I should let my coworkers know about it so they can go there. A few weeks later I get a denial from my insurance company because AFC billed an "extended visit" and now I'm on the hook for over 100 bucks! The only thing that extended anything was the sales pitch for the new place. I fight back and forth with them, requesting proof of what was done to "extend" the visit. Nothing. Only more bills. Finally I get a woman from their billing department threatening to send me to collection. I tell her to go ahead and I will file a complaint with my insurance company for fraudulent billing and the attorney general. I haven't heard from them since. I hate to be a Karen but this was total BS.
