This was the only shop that refused to issue a quote without a photo of the license plate and the VIN inside the door. I sent the VIN from the dashboard (it's the same VIN), but apparently, that was not enough for them. And they don't need a license plate to issue a quote. I can only imagine that they are looking for more personal information that I am comfortable giving out for a simple quote. If they won't even issue a quote, why would anyone use them?
