I'm giving 5 stars, because I really loved the front desk and Deena alone. Clearly caring, kind & attentive ladies. Scheduling was easy, procedure was quick, and it was overall a solid office. The only thing I was a bit partial to was after being numbed for a few fillings, I didn't see anyone or get "checked on" for like 15 minutes. I was thinking that it could be kinda scary for some people, and to have a little "you doing ok?" could be nice. But, like I said, everything else really good and enjoyed my couple visits here. :) read more

I've been trying to get a call back for just about a month now. I've called in 4 times, explaining my situation in varying detail, to be told I will receive a call back from either the receptionist or Dr. Hoyt himself and yet no call still. I communicated that I had time constraints. This business has received 2 grand from me thus far and this is greatly unappreciated. Please be better. Not looking forward to having to restarting my Invisalign process elsewhere. Edit: the whole thing was resolved finally (I think). I've never been seen here however the customer service I received is enough for me to NEVER call/visit this dentist again. My daughter needs all of her 4 wisdom teeth extracted to which the front desk lady said her soonest appointment was in 5 days. She asked me for my insurance carrier and told me to hang on. I understand it's a process to be seen that's why I was inquiring. Well the front desk girl put me on "hold" but I heard everything. She told another lady in the office Front desk lady: She wants to bring her daughter in for wisdom teeth. Other lady : Well is she a patient? FDL: No. She wants to bring her in her little girl is in pain. OL: Well does she even have insurance? Because we don't have time to see other people who aren't our current patients, especially if they have no insurance. FDL: Yes she has Blueshield medical I think. OL: No tell her No! We don't have space or time our appointments are designated for our patients only their extractions come first! Besides we don't accept medical. FDL: Got back on the phone and said we don't have any available appointments and to call my insurance customer service number to find out who I cam go to because I cant go to them, they don't have space and don't accept medical. To which I responded I thought you had an available appointment in 5 days? Also I have BSBC of NC which is not medical and that I had checked with my insurance prior to calling them. They should give you a list a hung up. I have never been treated so rudely by any medical clinic. Needless to say I don't recommend this place and will not be calling in the near future or ever for that matter. To the lady that decides my PPO wasn't good enough: I understand your current patients are priority that's expected. However don't mistreat new patients that are looking for care remember who makes your jobs possible. Patients, people like us that pay for services to your boss so that they can write you your check on payday. read more

Dr. Hoyt is THE BEST DENTIST I have ever experienced. He is so gentle and kind to all his patients. I have had several fillings, cracks and implants and he has been always there to help me, I never feel put off or that I'm a problem. I always recommend him to everyone. He has taken care of our family of five and our friends as well. The staff has always been so kind and accommodating. Always willing to work with you on payments and insurance too. I was a patient with Hoyt Dental over 8 yrs. On several occasions his office claimed my wife missed appointments that she called and cancelled. The final straw was when they incorrectly billed my wife for $1800 of Dental work for dental work that she never had done. Even after they understood the error was theirs they wouldn't apologize to my wife for their error. Bad accounting, bad practice. Beware! read more

My tooth cracked on the way to work yesterday around noon and I was in the chair getting excellent service by 400pm. My tooth was expertly repaired in less than an hour. I doubt that they can always clients in that quick, but it was urgent, and they took care of me with a smile. My wife had been in before, so I knew that they were friendly, but Dr. Hoyt was professional when I saw him, and he seemed to be genuinely concerned about my comfort and overall experience. I think the 5 stars speak for themselves, but I must say something more. Greatest all around doctor I've ever met. I'm a nurse in the OR and interact with physicians all day. From his professionalism, to his skills, to his fairness and openness with each patient Dr Hoyt is simply the best. I'm fortunate that my wife discovered this office. It makes feel warm inside just knowing that we have them to rely on for our entire family. From my mom and dad, to my sister and brother in-law. We love them! The front office is just a reflection of the their constant drive to achieve great patient care. Cathy and Gail, and the rest of the ladies that make the place tick are top notch as well. I've been seeing Dr. Hoyt since I was a baby and I still love going into his office for my teeth (though I don't get the treasure box anymore). For a short time we had issues with insurance so I went to another dentist and have regretted it ever since. Dr. Hoyt smoothed out the bad filling from the other dentist and is always pleasant. I love the staff, they always ask how the family is doing, have email reminders and appointment setting, and really are as accommodating as I could ask. The staff are wonderful at Hoyt Dental. Kathy at the front desk is always smiling and has such a pleasant affect. Dena the dental hygienist has been cleaning my family's teeth for about 6 years now. Her cleaning techniques are virtually painless yet thorough. Dr Hoyt definitely knows what he is doing. He has placed fillings and crowns for my family and I over the years without any problems. I love this place! I've had a root canal and a filling done recently. Both procedures went very smoothly. Dr. Hoyt is always so kind and gentle, and his work is done to perfection. I broke my Front tooth (the big one, right in front), on a Halloween candy sucker, I called Dr. Hoyt after the office was closed, and he said, he would meet me at his office the very next day at 8;00 am. The office was closed and It was his day off ,(a friday), He fixed my broken tooth, (so i wasn't embarrassed all weekend long.)
