When we got them in could see the hope in their eyes starting to show. They where ready to change and accepted anything they offered them here to change their life's! It's hard to rate a facility like this. its the same as rating a doctor. You have good outcomes and bad outcomes. It all depends on the patients will, to get help. Where the same treatment for one person is successful, for another it may not fully work. Nevertheless treatments here are wonderful and have been developed tru years of experience, Treatment is better than no treatment, and waiting for the end. Without even trying to fight. Then I got taken back met with medical dropped my bags off with the guards/employees in the center pod and then I was shown to my room. It was a room with four beds, the bedding was literally worse than what you get in prison. There was an open shared closet, with graffiti MS-13 gang tags. There was a restroom that was shared with the room next-door, which was disgusting. I then met with a therapist and he was OK but didn't seem to care much and then a loud overhead announcement such as a lockdown was announced for everyone to return to their rooms. I wasn't inside there more than 30 minutes before this happened. The whole place on the inside was literally just like a prison, except the rooms had doors instead of bars. The guys inside this place easily 80% of them look like gang bangers, thugs, knuckleheads, or crackheads and it was loud as heck in there. The therapist, noticing my education and background even told me I should watch out who I hang with and to try and find someone more like me in there. I'm sorry, but rehab should feel like a safe space not a place where I should feel worried about being attacked by some young punk in my sleep, or just for looking at him wrong. So I went to the center pod knocked on the door, and when the employee answered I told him I was not staying and I would like my stuff. The guy grabbed my stuff and handed it to me and started laughing as I was headed out. If you are a normal person in society, who has an addiction, I would seriously recommend finding somewhere else to rehab. This place is a joke and it's not even funny.

My mom has been at Lotus Villa Memory Care unit for about seven months. I have nothing but high…read moreregard and praise for the caregivers there. Becky, an administrator, saw that my mom was not doing well, called me that night and helped me put her on hospice care, which has helped her so much. The staff has been supportive and treat my mom with care since she is so frail. I'm there a few times a week and am able to observe the caregivers and cleaning staff. I know some staff by name and they always greet me with a smile and keep me updated on my mom's condition. They treat all the residents with care, even though they are sometimes verbally abused by the residents, yet they keep smiling and treat them kindly, which I'm sure is difficult at times. Her clothes are cleaned and put away on a weekly basis as well as her room which is cleaned frequently. I'm glad I chose Lotus Villa for my mom's long term care.

I searched and visited many facilities prior to me choosing Mountain View Center. I visited them a couple times and was able to meet the Owner, Coordinators, the caretakers, the cook, all the helpers I just knew that they stood out far beyond any others I went to. First thing that stood out was how immaculate everything was and it smelled so fresh and clean. This was very important for me if my mom going to live here. They gave me a tour of facility and the living quarters where my mom would stay. She has her own bedroom whom she shares with a wonderful roommate. They were very careful about matching mom's roommate, so they carefully introduced my mom to a few ladies and we found the perfect one. My mom has been her for 3 years and she loves it. They even have a program where a bus picks up the residents that are able, to have fun filled days dancing, singing, doing crafts, then the bus brings them back. They are very involved with many onsite activities. They have lots of parties, holiday parties too, they bring in musicians/bands so they can dance and enjoy, bbqs, dress up..etc. I just had to share my experience with anyone looking for a place for mom or dad. Dementia again has impacted our family, my dear Auntie is suffering with this horrible disease now. I am not a disgruntled employee and won't be discredited by the owner of this facility. 1) This facility is an absolute death trap. You do not send your family member here to live and thrive you send them here to suffer andie. This facilities owner only cares about the financial bottom line and does not provide the care promised when you drop off your loved one 2) residents are routinely neglected and their personal hygiene is non existent ! They are not groomed daily, have their teeth brushed daily or bathed daily. Although they claim they are ! 3) the staff here has a true heart for the residents. They truly try to give the best care to them but when the owner and management does NOT provide the appropriate tools and necessities needed to provide the care expected even the best intentions fall short. 4) the building is old, dirty and unkempt. Mold, feces, bed bugs and trash riddles the floors of this facility. 5) the management and owner keep the truth from both authorities and families here. They give the run around for any question you might have of your loved ones and of any reports of negligence, abuse or violence in the facility. I find this impossible to believe. Anyone, with ANY knowledge of the disease of addiction, knows that we are never cured of this thing. This disease as chronic, and can be fatal. When we are looking for a justification for our behavior, even the treatment center might seem like a good place to set the blame. The truth is, I have tried to get help time and time again. Every time I was unable to stay sober, I blamed someone else. I have been able to stay sober for several years now. Whiteside played a crucial role in my sobriety. I could never thank them enough, for their guidance and support. My heart goes out to the people that were unable to find recovery, and especially for their loved ones.

No one should be made to feel like an inconvenience for advocating for their loved one. The office staff consistently demonstrate a lack of sympathy, empathy, and basic respect for families who are clearly going through difficult and emotional situations. Instead of support and guidance, you are met with dismissiveness and frustration. This experience was not only disappointing but deeply upsetting. During a time when compassion and professionalism should be the standard, this facility failed entirely. Overall, this was the worst experience I've ever had, and I would strongly caution others before trusting this place with the care of someone they love.

Terrible shape. I go visit her the next day she tells me she had fallen in the bathroom. I asked the nurses no one nobody fall so I talked to the administrator Oliver. He said he would conduct an investigation and call me in a couple of hours. I neveeceived the phone call so I w ent back later on that evening he said that they determined that she did not fall that she was imagining things and that ​she possibly missed me. Very unprofessional. Turns out State found them negligent. The cookies I even took to her that evening were stolen. Administrator made fun of me saying he would return the cookies and a laughing manner.
