Whitney worked with us to plan set up and prep until we were completely comfortable. She even let us come a day early to drop all of our supplies off in the prep room and helped us unload our cars. The Waterhouse had all the resources we needed to make our wedding a success and the process of getting the ok on vendors and alcohol service was quick and simple. The price to rent the venue was more than fair and even the policeman provided for the event was extremely nice. We would choose the Waterhouse Pavilion a million times over!

After several minutes we saw the entrance to this beautiful venue. Driving up the long driveway, you don't really appreciate the location until you reach the top and are able to look down on the pasture and river below. Ocoee Creat is located in Polk County Tennessee. The barn is a built barn for the wedding and event industry. The barn has garage doors facing the mountains which can be fully raised to allow a perfect view to the east. The inside of the barn has rooms for bride and groom and although I did not go inside the rooms, they appear to be able to be used for an overnight stay. All in all, this venue was beautiful and my wife and I had a great time. We do wish there had been some horses in the pasture though.

My most recent outing was Come From Away and luckily the 3 rows in front of me ended up being empty, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to see anything. I'm short, and without stadium type seating, I usually have a hard time seeing, thus I usually choose to sit in the balcony/mezzanine. Unfortunately, at this auditorium I can't do that because it's so far from the stage, you can't see anything. During Come From Away I also had a hard time hearing the show, though I'm not sure if that was a production issue, or a speaker issue. I haven't had that issue with other shows. Personally, I think the auditorium is just not well suited for Broadway shows though I understand the Tivoli is undergoing renovations. Music acts are somewhat different because you aren't really going there to watch them so much as listen. Parking is a big issue because there are not nearly enough parking lots adjacent to the building to accommodate the audience size and there are no designated walking areas on the left side of the building so you have to be very careful of traffic if coming from a back lot. Overall it's not a bad venue, but I'll be glad when the Tivoli is back up and running for Broadway shows.
