I visited this venue for the 2016 WishBowl for Make A Wish. Really a great event and this location…read moreprovided a comfortable setting for the event. As for the event, how about a large silent auction, very nice live auction items including trips and beach packages, Whirlpool appliances and so much more. The top prize was the Honda Accord raffle. While your watching your bids you sit back and watch the Super Bowl, but not any Super Bowl. A Peyton Manning winning Super Bowl. The Venue is a great size for large gatherings and has the ability to expand. The pictures on this sight show the potential types of events and located at the base of Lookout Mountain, so easy access up the mountain for just minutes from downtown.

There is a very special place hiding along Broad Street waiting for your discovery. Most people…read morescoot from the Interstate right up to Lookout Mountain. Don't be like "most people". Your mother brought you up to be better than that. She taught you how to be alert. She was right. She was talking about rare finds like Stratton Hall. I attended a corporate meeting last week at "The Strat". The group totaled about 70 or so. We needed a stage, tables and space for eating, mingling and group photos. The Stratton Hall Venue has all of that. It's not much to look at outside, but stay focused until you get on inside. There is a single large space with a nice looking laminate floor and blacked out ceiling. The lighting is ample and not glaring at you from above like some predator in flight. The other two rooms are complimentary to the larger but with their own ambiance. The second is a third of the size of the larger space with elegant drapery and stylish in appointments. Right next to it is a room almost equal in size that is referred to as the Chapel. It's more versatile than that. It is a totally white space with chandeliers and accompaniments that make it appear to be more of a dreamscape. The comfort rooms are decorated nicely and there is a lounge that is elegant. Of particular note are the concierge services supplied by the customer service representative. She is attentive and ready to respond to pressing issues. So you should consider Stratton Hall for your event. You'll be glad that you did.

Beautiful villa on the river. We got so lucky & rented a room when no one else was there. Nice…read morestaff, quiet grounds. Beautiful balcony, and a tree swing. Only thing I would change is the shower. It was a little wonky, took a while to get hot water & the handles were a little strange. But there was a big garden tub. I just couldn't figure out how to get the water to run from the faucet & not the shower head, it ran from both. Other than that, the room was nice, had big windows with a beautiful view, the landscaping was so cute, and there was a Keurig in the hallway for guests to make a cup of complimentary coffee. I recommend for anyone visiting Chattanooga.

Your website tells viewers that your staff is exceptional and goes above and beyond to make the day…read moreflow. That was the exact opposite of what we witnessed on Saturday. We understand if weather messes up the expectation of a wedding, but what we will never understand is how unprepared the venue was when it came to backup power. Lookout valley is notorious for having power outages, and to tell a wedding party you have no action plan when the power goes out, no backup generator, and that it may be the NEXT DAY until power is returned is 100% avoidable and not to mention extremely unprofessional for an EVENT VENUE. We were told by the owner of the venue that the power outage was "an act of God". This statement was so unprofessional, as the power outage was 100% avoidable if you have a backup generator. The owner did not take any responsibility for their lack of action plan for this scenario. Also, it did not even storm at the venue. If it weren't for my father leaving and going to buy a generator to be able to have our reception, it wouldn't have happened. Your staff was hiding from me and my wedding party - at one point we found the main venue staff woman crying in a closet to escape us...how rude to treat us that way. We also paid you to rent all 5 villa rooms. When we were told the power could be out until tomorrow, your staff did not offer any assistance for those of us staying in the villa. Thank god the power returned around 8:30pm that evening or else we would've had to rent a hotel. The venue villa rooms also did not have any hot water so all of our showers were cold all weekend. The staff was of absolutely no help when shit hit the fan, and I am just in shock at what I saw. At one point, we were going to have to move the reception inside not due to rain, but due to not having lighting outside, and your staff told me they "wouldn't charge me a flip fee" for it. I could not believe they were acting like they were doing me a favor by not charging me a flip fee. If I am being honest, we should've gotten a partial refund. We almost didn't have dinner due to no power in the kitchen. My amazing caterer drove back to her kitchen to cook our food and return. THAT is the type of above and beyond service I expected from our vendors. DO NOT BOOK VENUE.
