Dr. Friedman is an unusually caring and gentle-mannered doctor. His technique is superb and I say this as one who has a podiatrist in the family. He has consistently solved my foot problems quickly and with the least amount of invasive care. His technique is superb. I can't recommend him highly enough. So thoughtful, so caring. And Renee, his assistant, couldn't be lovelier. She has always squeezed me in when I have an emergency with zero fuss. Great practice. Love it. read more

Established in 2000.

Dr. Friedman began practicing podiatry in Suffern, NY in 2000 after taking over an existing podiatry office that had been at the same location since 1985. Suffern Podiatry provides foot care for children and adults, giving personal care in a warm setting. The office is conveniently located off of Exit 14B of the New York State Thruway, I-87.

Meet the Business Owner: Howard F.

Dr. Howard E. Friedman is a podiatrist and board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He became a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons in 2000. Dr. Friedman is on staff at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY and also a staff member of the hospital's Wound and Hyperbaric Institute. He graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1994 and completed his residency training in foot surgery in 1996, serving also as chief resident. He continued at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine as an instructor and then as an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery. Dr. Friedman has been treating patients in his office in Suffern, NY full-time since June 2000. He treats children and adults providing both surgical and non-surgical care.

At checkout I noticed a plant I used to have. Sort of a creeping vine leafed plant. My toddler poured a ton of juice in it and unfortunately it died. Without even saying anything else after identifying it for me which I have already unfortunately forgot, but I'll make a point to look it up through a photo later, she cut a clipping and gifted it to me in a small glass with water completely free of charge. This was a small gesture, but it meant a lot. The plant that I previously had that died was my mothers, who was killed 6 years ago now. So even though she was unaware of that, the gesture was very meaningful to me. If I ever need anything from this shop, I wouldn't hesitate to come back here, or refer a friend in need.
