My ex certainly wasn't going to step up and help, even tho a king time ago we took OUR dogs here. What u will find here is peace. Beauty and no mosquitoes. It's worth your while to keep on. Walking back along the river line. Just take your time. Plenty of places you could take pictures it's absolutely peaceful. It was so nice to hear the birds sing. With the path and multiple seating areas it's easy to get some space if your pet needs social interaction breaks. The unfenced area is lovely with a river running past it. It is not free however, but the price is very reasonable for annual and day rates and you can pay with card at a terminal when you park.

They dont discriminate against breeds and have signs posted as such, which I really liked. It had a pretty steady flow of pups coming and going through out the time we were there. They have plastic bags available if you forgot to bring your own, and plenty of places for you to sit and watch as your pets mingle and play around in the large fenced area. I was surprised to find that this dog park is free to use, but they do have a donation tube.. which is totally worth dropping a few bucks into when you visit to help maintain the property.

I appreciated that it had flexible hours and is a free dog park (suggested donation box avai). This is the biggest dog park that we've been to compared to the ones in IL and it's free! The park has 2 different areas that are gated and a place in the middle of the park if you want to switch over to the other gated park. Both parks are huge but the one to the right feels slightly bigger. The parks have dog bowls laying around for water and toy boxes available to use as well. Poop bags are available and it is encouraged that people pick up and toss their dogs' poo out in the trash on the way out. I stepped on poo the first time I came here and that was not pleasant...the 2nd time I came here, I didn't step on poo but there were poop bags laying around. It would be nice if people just picked up and threw away their own dogs' poop. Other than that, the park is overall clean. We'll be back if we are in the area again!

Whether down by the water or up on the lookout tower, it's an absolute beauty of a park. I'm not clear on the rules/ins and outs but I've seen plenty of people rent out the clubhouse building for celebrations, which seems like a great idea!

You can see a variety of animals like foxes, bears and elk. This small zoo has some picnic areas along with a cafe and gift shop. Best of all it is a free zoo. Afterwards, we walked along the lake and the beach. If you're in the Oshkosh area, this zoo is definitely a must see!!
