Five months post surgery…read moremy figure started to become disfigured, and today I can't even put my right hand into my pocket because the finger is bent/ disfigured. They have refused to see me, answer my emails, answer questions on my patient portal, or return calls. TOC's reason for not wanting to help? I owe them money. My insurance company paid $16,449.53, I paid $1,219.13 (10/20/22) before the surgery took place, and have made multiple smaller payments on the account since. I even went in and spoke to someone, offered to pay cash to have my finger looked at, and they declined to see me. Feel free to look at my other reviews. I HATE leaving a bad review for anyone. I have a right hand that's barely functional without an enormous amount of pain, and negative reports on my credit, all for a surgery that was suppose to fix my broken finger, not make it worse. The images of the bent finger are from 3.25.2024, and I cannot straighten it. Patient Portal picture is multiple emails sent with NO response. Pictures with stitches were post op.

For over 15 years, I've endured chronic pain in my large toe joint despite consulting doctors and…read moresurgeons. Joint replacement and fusion offered uncertain success, while gel and steroid injections provided temporary relief. My primary care physician recommended Dr. Carlson for non-surgical treatment for osteoarthritis and joint pain. He praised Dr. Carlson's advancements in PRP, a treatment made from concentrated platelets derived from the patient's own blood. Skeptical but desperate for relief, I scheduled a consultation and felt hopeful for the first time. Dr. Carlson reviewed my scans and diagnosed my condition using ultrasound, and had confidence he could provide relief. He created a detailed treatment plan and explained everything to me. After three months and three rounds of injections, I've been relatively pain-free and now walk five miles every morning. If you're experiencing joint pain, mobility issues, arthritis, or any other injury, I highly recommend contacting Dr. Carlson. PRP is typically less costly, quicker recovery, and for me, offered a better outlook than surgery. I was pleased with everything from our initial meeting to the final treatment. Working with Dr. Carlson was extraordinary. He dedicated time to explain his treatment procedure, ensuring my comprehension and comfort throughout the process. The entire office staff exceeded expectations, particularly in the healthcare industry.

I love Dr Carlson and his staff. I have heard nothing but great things about his care. I'm in the…read moremidst of PRP and Prolotherapy injections. Fingers crossed!

I had rotator cuff surgery yesterday with Dr Holloway at KOSC. When I first went in, there was no…read moreone at the reception desk.. A woman was briskly walking up to the desk telling me "I need you over here". I had all of my things in a zippered case, so went over to a counter to unzip it, & she said in a more demanding voice "I said I need you over here!!" I did not appreciate her attitude!! I was called back to pre-op by Kim, the nurse who worked with me until I went back to surgery. She was fantastic! Friendly, empathetic, knowledgeable. She checked on me frequently & kept my husband informed at least every hour. I very much appreciated her being with me during this time. Finally went to surgery, then to PACU. The nurses were good, but I could tell they were rushing because it was getting late & probably close to the end of their shift. KOSC time line was the worst!! I was told before surgery to be there at 10:00 , but they don't give you a specific surgery time. Now I know why! I got there at 9:50, called back to pre-op at 10:40, & finally went to surgery at 3:00 pm. My husband was frustrated. I had nothing to do all that time except thinking about the surgery I would soon be having. I tried sleeping, but there was too much traffic/noise in the hallway outside of my holding area & the overhead messages. It just made for a VERY long day - leaving our home at 9:15 & returning at 6:15 pm.

Everyone was excellent. I had surgery on my finger and everyone was very pleasant and made sure I…read morewas comfortable.
