Two of the appointments, only one cleaning person (half of the "team") show up, so... I had to step in and clean with the ONE lady that DID show up. They sweep/vacuum and mop alongside each other which creates little pieces of wet grime/pet hair and whatever else lands on a wood/vinyl plank floor. My home is easy to clean, with NO CARPET except for one area rug (which they missed vacuuming, all but once). My HVAC has an air scrubber with HEPA filters and I have a portable HEPA air scrubber as well. I shaved my cats so it lessens the hair. They have NOT ONCE emptied my kitchen trash. (I do all the others before they come.) They constantly change the day/date/time of my regularly scheduled cleanings. The very first team they sent out was great, but those girls QUIT the job after a month. The second team has not lived up to the quality of the first. They were supposed to come this week, but they are a NO SHOW and have actually blocked my telephone number. I cannot even wrap my head around the fact that they were supposed to be here TODAY but instead of calling me and having a professional conversation, they blocked my number. Oh, and the 5-star review I left for them elsewhere is getting edited to reflect my true experience. This has been the WORST experience I've ever had with a housekeeping service. Shame on the owner Christine. Not setting a good example for your employees in regard to accountability. I will be attaching photos shortly. I'm sick to my stomach over how my family was lied to and cheated. I honestly don't even know where…read moreto begin: the countless cigarette butts they left all over the front yard and driveway (that they never once acknowledged or apologized for), the blatant lies they told me and promises they broke that wound up costing us over $750 or their complete lack of customer service to the point of insult? They said whatever they needed to in order to secure the job. I should have gone to the house and checked their work before I Venmo'd the money. CHECK THEIR WORK BEFORE YOU PAY THEM! They refused to return any of it and then threatened to sue us if we wrote a bad review. To explain the photos attached to this review: 1. I sent the owner, Teri, a thorough list of the things that needed to be complete in order for us to get our security deposit back at move out. I figured a lot of them weren't included in her typical cleaning and I was more than ready to take care of them myself, but I needed clarity. She responded, "Relax. Breathe. We got this." They didn't do even a quarter of what they agreed to in text and verbally. They didn't even vacuum the stairs! The carpeted stairs were covered with lint, tiny scraps of paper, food crumbs, etc. I have the photos! 2. The property management company that did a walkthrough after they were done sent me documentation listing everything that was not cleaned. They had to hire another interior cleaning company and carpet cleaning company and we were charged for it. 3. Cigarette butts littering the property: this was the first thing I noticed when I arrived to check their work. As soon as I opened my car door to step out there were cigarette butts all over the driveway under my feet, I couldn't look more than one foot without seeing another one. They were in the front yard, bushes, flower beds- they didn't even attempt to cover them up (because they didn't think I'd be coming back to check as this was a move out clean). I'm in shock that companies like this can still be in existence. At the very least I expected an apology for the cigarette butts, but from the very first conversation that occurred (AFTER they were paid of course) she's been in denial, blame-shifted, talked in circles and completely ignored my biggest complaints. Not once did she take responsibility for even the smallest thing or try to make anything right. The icing on top was she insulted my family and then threatened to sue us if we left a truthful review about our honest experience with their company. Well, I'm willing to take the chance in order that this does not happen to some other innocent and trusting family. If I had seen a review like this beforehand I would have ran and saved myself a ton of headache and money. I have screen shots of the conversations, and before and afters to prove what a fraudulent and disreputable company this is. Requested one-time move-out cleaning service that they advertise. I found them through Angi's list…read morewith five stars. I won't be trusting Angi's List again, but I've never had issues before now. No official quote was issued, partly my fault for not insisting. Therefore, no receipt afterwards. They didn't have a secure payment portal, so once again I did something stupid and paid in cash. Day of service, they showed up over an hour late. I didn't think much of it because it was slightly dirty and empty so should have been fairly easy and basic. She claimed that her system was down and couldn't remember what we agreed to, so I reminded her. And once again I'm too trusting. My husband and I had other things we were working on around the house in prep for final move-out inspection so we left the ladies to do what they needed to. In the middle of running a quick errand, I get a call from my husband telling me we need an extra $50 to clean the oven. I explicitly explained that a move-out cleaning needed to include that. Already stressed and at last minute I agreed. Once done, which was indicated by the lady mopping her way out the front door, I paid. (I've hired cleaners for this kind of work before and had great experiences.) Once again partly my fault for not insisting that I get to inspect before final mopping, I just trusted since this was supposedly a five-star business. The next day I went back to finish painting and discovered that a horrible job had been done. The corners in every room still had dirt in them, half the baseboards were not cleaned, none of the kitchen cabinet faces were wiped down, none of the kitchen drawers were wiped out, and so on. The work that was done was sloppy. I had to do additional cleaning in order to prep for final walkthrough the next day. Walkthrough day, more issues were discovered like a black ring under the rim of the toilets that had not been cleaned amongst so many other finer details. This house had nothing in it, just the dirt and dust and the usual culprits of shower, toilets, oven, and other basics. I had to go out and spend another $50 on cleaning supplies after spending the $250 for half of a duplex that is less than 1100 square feet. When I reached out to this company for at least a partial refund, I got nothing but defensive and blame placing argument. She had the audacity to blame my husband for interfering, which was wholey untrue and since I was the one who hired her, I was the one she should have been talking to anyway. She has yet to give me a partial refund even after her juvenile responses. My recommendations are to make sure you get a quote, receipt and inspect her work before handing over payment of any sort. Her word cannot be trusted.
