The day before our scheduled appointment, I went into labor with our first child I realized this from the hospital, and messaged the scheduled cleaner to inform that we would not be there, but would leave a key. My husband drove to our home and left a key under the mat for her, and was able to be back long before it was time for me to push. When we returned home from the hospital with our new baby boy, there was nothing quite as refreshing as stepping into a newly-cleaned home- particularly since we had threw together our hospital bags at 2:30 am, and the house was in disarray when we left. We would highly recommend their services, and the only reason we did not give a 5-star review was because of the baseboards and window sills, which I am sure they may have done had we been home to specify. read more

Stay away. I booked 4 hours of cleaning and got none. The cleaner didn't show up. Money lost. Granted I gave them a wrong address digit and missed one digit in the phone number but emailed them within 23 minutes with the right phone and address. No one called. No one showed up. I even went outside to look for them and nothing. I reached back out to reschedule and was told I lost my booking dollars and will not get them even with reschedule because cleaner came and waited for 20 minutes. Appointment was at 5pm. They emailed me 37 minutes later because their cleaners are always late. I waited for their cleaner for hours and got my apartment ready for them do I get compensated for that? I purchase a groupon deal for 3 hours, received an email from the company asking for more details before they can proceed. After sending them the information, they replied they can't make it, and they need to charge extra more. I respond to them by email that I only wish for 3 hours of cleaning and the maids can leave after 3 hours but they still refuse, which they are not honoring the groupon. Finally, Groupon initiated the refund, and informed me this company is under investigation due to illegal practice of scamming for more money. BEWARE!!! They send you email requesting for more information and will ask you to pay more, if you refused they will not honor your Groupon. read more

i got a groupon and tried this out. my place really need some cleaning. i got the 2hr deep cleaning with 1 person. on the day of the cleaning, they called and had to re-schedule it to 2 hrs later. and changed it to 2 person for 1hr... i was like whatevers... let's just see the peeps came late like 30-45mins... and it was an old couple... hmmm, again whatevers.. i don't care about the cleaning person as long as they clean... i show the grandpa the place, perhaps not that old, but definitely over 50 or even 60 couple come to clean my place... kitchen, bathroom, and studio... the grandma takes the bathroom and the grandpa takes the kitchen...anyways cut to the chase, they did an awesome job cleaning the bathroom and kitchen.. i mean they got rid of stains that were there for yrs... too bad time ran out and my studio didn't get finish... I'm ok with lateness as I was home so didn't matter to me, but just a warning, I was pretty sure they would get caught by rush hour traffic.. should have text or call to tell me they are going to be late though... i paid for cleaning and got it. so, that's all that matter here.. my bathroom is so clean!!! man, i didnt clean those floors for yrs.... my initial rating was too high. after more audit and afterthought, they didn't get to my studio, the kitchen still has some dirty spots. gotta give it to grandma as she did an awesome job with the bathroom. pretty much spotless. i would definitely re-use their service. i think if I have a preference, i would just get grandma for 2-3hrs. grandpa's work was spotty... read more

I have tried using a Groupon for cozy maid and I have waited for 4 weeks and none of the maids accepted nor no one fro their customer service cared. I have given all time slots available. I changed my Groupon to Lady Maidz and I was able to get an appointment within couple of days . The website is clear and you can choose the time slot you want easily. I had a doubt on it too but finally when I had a schedule confirmed, I was happy. She came on time and communicated well. She cleaned what all I asked for and finished her work properly. I definitely recommend Housekeep. They have easy online scheduling and are prompt to reply if you need to reschedule. I love that I can pay online! The quality of the cleaning has been consistently great. They are very thorough. There was a one-time no-show issue that I was initially upset about but it occurred and there was a totally reasonable explanation, they remedied the situation quickly. Cleaning crew came on time. They cleaned the whole house in about 2.5 hours. I liked how the lady cleaned the stove, took out dripping pans, vacuumed under the stove cover, scraped accumulated grease behind the stove with the blade. I also ordered carpet wash, they brought rotating machine with a big tank that cleaned all the stains. Carpet dried in about 15 minutes. Overall very happy with the service. read more

I don't review often (actually first yelp review), but thought I would for Housekeep cleaning. Angel and his team were at the property BEFORE their scheduled time, and spent four hours doing the move out cleaning (for about less than 1300 square foot space). Each member spent on average 1.5 hours on bathroom alone, which is practically unheard of. We were extremely happy with the type of promptness and cleanliness they showed. The house looks like new now and our only regret is that we did not call them sooner for during our stay and only found them while searching for a local team expert in the move-out cleaning. I would not recommend these people for many reasons. I requested a 3 hour cleaning with 1 cleaner, but they sent me 2 cleaners for 1.5 hours instead. It would've been fine if both cleaners were of equal caliber, but one of the cleaners was not very good. He wore his shoes in the house, and when we asked him to take them off or put booties on, he did, but didn't re-clean the areas where he had walked with his shoes. When he mopped the floors, he hardly squeezed/rinsed out the mop or resprayed the chemicals...so essentially, he just moved the dirt all around the house. At the end of their cleaning, we found several areas where they didn't vacuum well 'cuz there were still crumbs or other debris, so we asked them about it, and they said their vacuum wasn't working well. Uhhh, that's no excuse. So we gave them our vacuum to use and they very quickly vacuumed the place again, in less than 10 minutes. At the end of the cleaning, the guy walked through the entire house with his shoes. They did not do a good job. So I e-mailed customer service and gave my feedback and asked someone to get back to me, and no one did. I e-mailed again and got no response. So I called, and someone answered the phone and said they were sorry and would read the e-mails and get back to me that day. Several days later, I got an e-mail saying they would offer me a re-clean that week. I e-mailed back and said I wasn't available that week but would be a couple of weeks later. No response. A week later, I e-mailed again, still no response. Several days later, I e-mailed again and called and left another voicemail, and then I get a confirmation e-mail booking me for another cleaning. The day of the re-clean, the cleaners were supposed to come between 1-2pm. We had guests coming over the next day so the place needed to be cleaned. I waited until 2:30pm, and then called and left a message. No response. Called and e-mailed again at 3pm. By this point, they are 1-2 hours late and have not contacted me at all. I called again and left an angry e-mail. I get an e-mail around 3:30pm saying their cleaner couldn't come and they would refund me my money. Umm, I didn't want my money back, I wanted a cleaning! And they should have notified me earlier, not 2 hours after the time their cleaner was supposed to arrive! Because they didn't honor their commitment, I had to clean the entire house while taking care of a newborn. If you want someone reliable, professional, timely, and who can thoroughly clean your house, DO NOT USE THEM! read more
