The ideas, the colors, the actual work performed by hired contractors through m.a.p. interiors- was a relaxing experience - we did not have to even be there when work was performed. We would do it again any day! This Service by m.a.p. interiors will save anyone, the running around of finding what you like, how to put it all together - along with dealing with professionals in any line of business - and many headaches! We saw their work at a friend's place and like the result a lot. After sending them pictures and links on what we liked (everything from lamps to tables to paintings), they came back and presented us the compiled design. Everything was done very professional and followed a clear concept. During the next few weeks, Sylvia from m.a.p. interiors spent a lot of time showing us other options if we didn't like anything or gave us directions on where we could find more items to look at. Her extensive network of contractors as well as material stores helped us get everything at the best possible quality & price (which I am very thankful for). Starting the actual work, they were often on site to make sure the contractors were doing the right things and correct them if necessary. This was very helpful for me as I'm travelling most of time and would not have had the time to be home. Now that we are done, I'm even happier that we've selected m.a.p. interiors as everything looks fantastic, flows beautifully together and we got it done at very reasonable price. I definitely recommend m.a.p. interior to anyone!

If I could put a 0 star I would. We were looking for a GC and found Ande & her husband Josh (our…read moreGC) through our cabinet makers social media. We hired Ande to design our kitchen cabinet layout as well as living room & dining room furniture/decor. She "sold" herself as an experienced professional designer. Her initial involvement was great. However, Once we received her layouts it was downhill from there. We quickly realized that she was not skilled or capable of coming up with a design that we wanted. Using very basic tools to draw up our kitchen. We had to FIX & CHANGE everything from her layout What we experienced: * LACKS knowledge about functionality and appliance placement. In her design she put my oven against the perimeter cabinets only leaving access to one side. * Lacks attention to detail. Our plumbing was incorrectly place due to her design. * Lack of follow through- was not present during ANY of the installs. * Lacks knowledge on creating basic mood board creation(she used a photo collage app/ see attached ) * Lacks listening skills. All her selections and suggestions were NOT my style and never could get it right. * Over promising/under delivering- her contract read that she would design kitchen layout and help with dinning, living and sitting room . She not only did not deliver an acceptable kitchen design, she did no work in other rooms as stated in contract. * Unethical- Ande is currently claiming that our kitchen was her design on social platforms. A design she did not create :/- her and her husband asked one of their subs to take professional pics of our home so she could submit it to design magazine as her own. She did that because she knew we would not approve of her taking credit. We DID NOT use ANY of her designs or ANY recommended selections. I've attached a copy of her "Final Design" it looks like NOTHING we built. In our experience with Ande, we found her to lack professional experience, maturity and accountability. Lastly, we unfortunately hired her husband as our GC and found multiple over charges on his invoices. We do not recommend.

Also, she connected me with reliable and professional painters, installers and window treatment companies. She saved us a lot of money- her contacts provided the lowest bids by at least 25% to 50%. Seeking out Sabine's help was the single best decision I've made since buying my home…read more I interviewed several other designers and knew from the initial consultation at my condo with Sabine that she would be the one to turn my condo into a home. From that moment and throughout the project she's been warm and authentic. She offers her insights, yet I've never felt like any decisions were ever pushed onto me. I honestly feel my home reflects me, but at a level I previously hadn't known was possible. Throughout our conversations, Sabine picked up on what elements or combinations were important to me even though I hadn't realized them enough to verbalize directly what I wanted. Afterward, I could only say, "That is exactly what I was looking for, but only better!" I know compared to other projects Sabine has worked on that mine was not a large one. And even though I knew she had other clients she was working with at the same time, I never felt like I was anything other than her primary concern. She was always quick to follow up or reply and made it really fun to shop together or to get down on the floor and compare flooring with window treatments, wallpaper, mirror frames, etc. I can't wait to work with her again.
