Contractor went to Home Depot for one wall switch (Home Depot 15 minutes away on a bad day). He was gone for 1.5 hours (paid by hour). When he left from the job, 1) the wall switch was defective so I did not get a new wall switch and 2) my original ceiling fan did not work correctly as he tore it apart so I had to buy a new one and pay someone to install it. The owner refuses to return my call/emails or try to remedy situation. I would give them a minus five stars if I could.

The only thing that I did not like was that the estimated cost was given in a range ($600-$921) instead of an exact price. This does not make it easy when budgeting for the project. Apart from just explaining, he also showed me through pictures why I was having this problem and what needed to be done in order to fix the issue. To be honest, based on Roland's explanation and lack of pressure, I made the appointment to go forward the same day; In fact, he actually recommended I get other quotes in order to see the comparison. The process took 2 days and the guys who did everything were great; extremely respectful, on time and very informative as well; the crew leader, Carlos, was very helpful in walking me through the process and answered all of the questions I had (multiple times), as a matter of fact, they called me every time they started a new step of the process to show me what was going to happen and why the step needed to be done. Roland stopped by (on his day of) to make sure I was satisfied with the process and again answer to any additional questions. Once they finished they cleaned the house and left it as if nothing had happened. Thank you all for your professionalism!

His quote was competitive and he sent several pictures of the work he did (he fit us in 2 days later). He even waited until it rained hard a few days later to check on us before asking for payment.

Although he seemed nice at first, after the first visit, felt like he was annoyed by me or something. I brushed it off as resting b-face but then communication became harder. He gave an excuse of phone issues but it seemed to ding and dong when he was here. For today's list I pushed and prodded to get a day/time. I did say that I would be home all day in order to work around his schedule. He said arrival 9:30-10am. Great, errands popped up but I moved somethings around to accommodate his arrival. Well after no show/no call, he rings me at 11:50 to say 12:30-ish. At this point I'm done. Getting a response and day/time commitments wore me out. Why am I chasing behind someone to work? My lists are like $500 each and are less than 8 hours of work. Sadly the professionalism that we started with crumbled and died a slow death.
